Let me respond to you somewhat intellectual assessment of theists first. Theists are not all knowing any more than any atheists or whatever you are. Apart from God we are all total ignoramuses in the realm of spiritual things. Even those who know God hardly qualify as "all knowing" since only God has
"All the knowledge on any subject at any time."

Now on to your other questions: 1. Knowing the voice of God is not possible unless you know God personally first. God is easy to understand because He only wants good for everyone
including those who despise Him. I was there once, and God forgave me.

Knowing the voice of the devil is easy. The devil's only purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. So every suggestion of evil comes from him.

Mohammad is dead. Only Christ resurrected from the dead.
Mohammad will only be called to Heaven on the day when all people will be judged by God. Therefore his authenticity is not relevant. On the other hand, There is only one measure of
Christ's authenticity. "My sheep know my voice, and will not answer to the voice of another." Those who know Christ will be easily able to discern His voice and appearance because of the Spirit of God within them.

"all knowing theists"

Since the only "all knowing theist" that I know of is God, does that mean you're asking Him questions now?

"By what method do you determine the difference between the voice of god, and the voice of the devil pretending to be god?"

Since you're asking God this question, don't you think that He, being all-knowing, wouldn't be able to recognize His own voice?

"If Christ or Mohammad did come back to earth, what would be your minimum requirement for proof of his authenticity?"

I'd think God would know, since He'd be the one who sent them.

Theists are not "all knowing" we actually realize the breadth and scope of the knowledge we don't possess. The Bible instructs us to be familiar with the voice of God in referencing how sheep are familiar with the voice of the good sheaperd. In other words learn to recognize the difference between when you hear God's voice and someone pretending to be God. As far as recognition, we'll know the same way we know to trust Him now.

1. By the works I am prompted to do. If I feel like I am being directed in a certain direction, but for some reason I think maybe it's not a good prompting I do 2 things. First I pray to God, and ask Him for His guidance, and then I analyze the decision. If whatever it is I'm being prompted to do is destructive to me or others, then it's not good. If it helps me or others, then it's good. But really and truly, if you pray for God's guidance through the Holy Ghost, then you don't need to worry about the devil.

2. That's a good question, and I don't really have an answer other than to refer to the above. "You shall know them by their fruits" or something like that. Beyond that, I would need to research and read and pray about it.

For one thing, when the Holy Spirit speaks to us, He will never tell us to do anything destructive or tell us to harm ourselves or others. Also when the Holy Spirit speaks to us most of the time it is during a time of meditation, during a time of prayer, studying the bible and worship. When we are in that private time spending time with God, satan cannot enter. We are sitting before the throne of God and satan CANNOT enter. I guess you just have to have a relationship with Christ to know what I mean.

For your second question, WHEN Christ returns it says in the bible ALL will know it. So there is no minimum requirements or proof needed.

Sorry I'm not a theist.

The voices are inside your head since if god spoke to you you would explode and the devil imitating would do the same thing. These are verbal hallucinations from their own mind.

1. Once it's been established that I don't have a neurological disorder, I'll worry about the god / devil thing... but if I start hearing the voice of God, I'm hitting the ER!

2. Three forms of photo ID, including a Passport stamped by Heaven.

First of all...I'm not all knowing. Now that we have settled that...!! God's voice always points toward His word. Never contradicts it. It brings peace, it asks me to deny myself, it is in line with His word, the bible.

Satan's voice gleefully urges me to indulge my own desires, ignore what God has to say and generally encourages me to be selfish.

It is not an "if" that Jesus is coming back. Mohammed is not coming back. When Jesus returns, I have no worries that I will know Him. His word said, my sheep know my voice. God knows exactly where I am at all times, He will find me.

Didn't read the Bible? Christians are told by the Apostle Paul to "test" the spirits....hmmm, wonder why?
And, Mohammad is not supposed to come back. You have your religions mixed up.
