Physically, a woman has only one hymen.
Although some women are born without a hymen, most have one, and the hymen varies in size and shape from woman to woman.

I suspect he or she was speaking metaphorically. The hymen seldom survives early childhood exploration and masturbation, and some women never had one in the first place.
But the spiritual category "virgin" is far more than an elusive scrap of flesh. It is the magical time when a girl is completely her own self, untouched by intimate contact with a man, and by the confusion and compulsions of the sexually awakened.
There are various definitions of virginity, and some would argue that one is a virgin maiden (I do not use the term "virgin" about a sexually inexperienced male, who never had anything that corresponds to a hymen) as long as one is not sexually experienced ("Have you ever been experienced?" asked Jimi Hendrix.). This would not depend on penetration by a penis for its limit, but by a finger or a dildo or any other intrusion.
To me, you keep the status "virgin princess" (all girls are princesses) until you have had VOLUNTARY sex with a man. Involuntary acts may make you feel dirty and unworthy, but to me you are still a princess, and have a right to be treated with all the respect due to a virgin.

Really really not.
Perhaps she meant it in some crazy metaphorical way... but I think its pretty hard to construe a 'deeper hymen' in a spiritual sense, unless it was something messed up to do with virginity.

Your spiritual teacher may have been speaking metaphorically referring to mental preparedness necessary prior to engaging in sex for the first time.

I think your "spiritual teacher" has ulterior motives.

Some might, but I believe that would be a biological oddity.

I believe that is referring to the metaphysical--don't mix the two.
