Ethnicity's were made through environmental factors changing the DNA of people. The more sun your environment has the more melanin. Rich and poor people are able to be both good and evil so I don't know if that would factor alone, but if you live generously and have much then it would factor for you.

Ethnicities arose out of the scattering of man that occurred with the building of the tower of Babel. Different parts of the world caused different changes in appearance to survive the climates. As it relates to salvation, God is colorblind and no HE isnt paying attention to your credit score or bank account either. What you do as a person on this earth is what matters...and above all, if you receive His son as your Savior.

There are different races because people live in different climates and different regions of the Earth.
Notice that white people originate in the north, where it is colder and darker skinned people from the south.
Dark skin prevents UV-A radiation from destroying the essential B vitamin folate. Folate is needed for the synthesis of DNA in dividing cells and too low levels of folate in pregnant women are associated with birth defects. So those in sun rich environments need to have darker skin to protect folate.
While dark skin protects vitamin B, it can lead to a vitamin D deficiency. The advantage of light skin is that it does not block sunlight as effectively, leading to increased production of vitamin D3, necessary for calcium absorption and bone growth. The lighter skin of women may result from the higher calcium needs of women during pregnancy and lactation.
Seems to me God did a good job in His design.

Yes, and because different ethnicities meant a greater portion of the planet could be populated.

no, god is outright racist.
you see there was actually a black 13th apostle named Rufus who was omitted from the gospels and god has never deigned to correct this gross racial prejudice act.
