What I am asking is, how did other languages form, originate from the beginning of the time?
I know part of the story and it was based on people trying to build a building to heaven to reach God. And he made all the people speak another laugage so they woudln't understand eachother. I know it's confusing and I want to know what you think!!

In the old Testament it says women should not cut their hair, wear jewelry, talk in church, etc. I am a Christian and studying the Bible with a wonderful friends help. She told me that after Jesus was born we no longer go by the Old Testament, but I cannot find that in the Bible. Will someone please clear this up for me?

Quran 2:216 "Fighting is prescribed for you (muslims), and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/002.qmt.html#002.216

If this insanity was posted outside the context of "religion" you would laugh it off, but because some lunatic called itself a prophet, you are forced to respect garbage like this.

What cheap maipulation. Dog tricks are more sophisticated than Allah's cheap ploy here. Allah tells his sheeple that fighting is prescribed! Well thats good, because we know humans wouldnt fight anyway if you didnt command it of them.

Oh but dont let conscience get in the way goodly Muslim folk! No, you see, FIGHTING IS PRESCRIBED, just cause your conscience fools you into thinking your murder for Allah isnt righteous, doesnt mean its not righteous!

Why so? Well, ALLAH KNOWS, AND YOU KNOW NOT! SHUT UP AND FIGHT.

Did you and a special loved one who passed on share certain secrets or have certain items that meant something to you two alone that pretty much no one knew about? A certain bird? Flower? A song? Anything? Do sometimes you swear that your loved one has left you sign that makes no sense to anyone but you? Is it too much of a coincidence when these "signs" pop up? What do you say?

Our world is rift by constant wars and bloodshed. Bordering middle eastern nations have fought for decades. Will mankind ever achieve a level of civility in our sinful state? Will we have to wait until our entrance into Heaven itself before we experience a life without conflict?

A parent taught two children to be careful crossing the street with the following rules: always look both ways to see that it is safe, only cross when the light is red, only cross in the crosswalk. The children were obedient and always followed the rules. They even wrote them down in a book so as not to forget them. As time went on, they received many other rules, which they also wrote down. Much time passed and the children grew in strength, stature and wisdom. One day, the parent said to the children. "You have done well and have learned much. From now on, I trust that you will always look both ways and be careful when you cross the street. You do not have to cross in the crosswalk only, but wherever it is safe". One child heard the parent and did accordingly, but the other refused to change the rules in his book and kept fast to them always. The children argued and each chastised each other for disobeying.

Who then is obedient to the parent?

I am raised and am a Roman Catholic but I believe that there is something out there , be that God or some higher being or inteligence (not aliens LOL ) that gave the initial spark of life to the entire Universe , for it is impossible that a massive space such as it is Universe contains only life on Earth. Somewhere there is something as well. But I also believe that all the religions are different ways of worshiping and praising that higher entity. We are all the same. Please , do not be insulted, but woludn't world be a better place when all the very religious people wold soften their views and embrace the Buddist , Muslim , Taoists, Hindu etc. as an total equal, that we are going to the same paradise as him/her. That wold be the first stepping stone to quieting and uniting wholly against terrorists who are nothing more that religious fundamentalists with blood on thier hands.

Also I believe in evolution. Peace.

The belief in a God can be separated from the ideologies of man's created bibles. It has always amazed me when a person accept the idea there is a God they automatically succumb to religion. I think the belief in a God doesn't validate religion as absolute truth and religion does not prove there is a God.

Even if we have total confirmation of a God you will still have to convince me the bibles in the world of a God. After all the men wrote the bibles. I am sorry but the bibles of the major religions doesn't read like an intelligent being which is the greatest argument against them.

The bottom line you can have the belief in and God and still pursue knowledge of all types. Once you start believing in the bibles of the major religions in this world this is where your intelligence ends. Through indoctrination the religious become desensitized to the evils of the bible and defend the same with stupidity.

Quran 8:67 “it is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land.http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.html

Think about this...does this make any sense on any level? If righteous Muslims have righteously slaughtered everyone, what captives are their left to take?

Lets suppose savage Allah doesnt literally mean total extermination by his command to make "wide slaughter", still, what would be wrong with taking prisoners as opposed to wide slaughter?

Ideally no filthy religion would advocate wide slaughters or taking captives, but what this illustrates is how Islam occupies the lowest possible rung of humanity.

By the way, I thought Muhammad was the final final prophet...yet the Quran contradicts that claim here because it gives instruction, via the Quran which was revealed through Muhammad, to future prophets. Notice how it says says "its not for ANY PROPHET TO..". Well, if there are no prophets after Muhammad, then why instruct prophets?

I am looking for a particular Roman Coin, probably minted in Asia ca. 62 CE to 98 CE. Or AD if you prefer.

Roma seated, likely facing left, seven heads, ten horns on the reverse, with Vespasian, Titus or Domitian on the obverse. Likely with Vespasian on the coin but minted under Domitian, as this would match the second beast making an image of the first beast. Other combinations are possible. The Roman letters in the inscription which are also Roman numerals should add up to 616 or 666, using only the initial title and name, not the accomplishments.

Any ideas? I'm also posting on some coin forums.

This is a legitimate question, given my ancient coin collection and my interest in the ancient Mediterranean, Biblical and otherwise.

Yes, I am looking for the 'Mark of the Beast' coin.
