Why did the "Holy Roman Catholic Church" decide what was to be in the "Bible" and why are we believing what dead jews write any way?

I know the New testament states Jesus existed, but please what other source can I look at to see if Jesus really existed. Is there any thing written down on him by someone else besides paul and john or other biblical writters.

Dear ones - I have some subjects on my heart I want to share with others to pray about... but I am afraid to broach the subjects for fear of rejection. ...So it made me wonder:

Is there a type of person you would NOT pray for - even when asked? WHY?

Is there a circumstance that you would refuse to pray for relief of? WHAT and WHY?

Example - is there an enemy you would not pray blessings for? Is there a person "in sin" you would not pray relief for when you think thier punishment is justified? Is there someone who has betrayed you that you could not pray forgiveness over?

If you needed agreement in prayer for a really hard subject - how could you present it so that others would understand that God's Will was being sought? ...I worry about causing stumbling blocks...

I look forward to your answers - and perhaps advice.

Preserving the lives of these individuals causes a drain on the resources of society and in no way enhances the survivability of the human race. Would you like to have them killed? If a little voice inside you is saying, “These people need love and compassion," that voice does not have biological evolution as its origin. Mutation, genetic drift, migration and natural selection cannot justify giving “kindness” priority over personal well being.

Lord Sri Krishna states in Bhagavad gita 4.24 and 14.27

Lord sri.Krishna talks about Brahmam-He does not talk about Himself!! There is a cult initiated by sri.Prabhu Paadha(a microscopic minority) who try to establish that Brahmam and Lord Krishna are synonyms.We the majority of Hindus (Smaarthas-followers of Acharya sri.Sankara) do NOT accept this stand.We have high regard,respect,devotion for sri.Krishna- but sri. Lets see in western countires...

Girls can where say a tight t shirt and combats. So can guys... pretty normal.

Guys in islamic countires can.... can girls do the same? no its head scarf and burka.


In the west girls can have a social life, hang out with the girls, have their own life, meet who they like etc


In islamic countires the guys can do all that...

I had a very vivid dream one night, and in my dream i saw God's word coming from a Blackman in America. He wasn't like other preachers (if you want to call him that) he spoke with firmness and condemned almost everything we know about the time we live in today, it's like we were going against the grain and he was trying to get everyone to do a complete 180* and go the other way. His voice wasn't over powering but it did remind me of an instrument, one that i'd never heard before. If the man that is to come to establish God's Will on earth is a Blackman, will you accept him?

We find now that people emphasize more on diversity instead of Unity. Whereas Shirdi Sai and Kabir were foremost during those times when India was under British Rule to unite both Hindus and Muslims. They used to say 'Ram and Rahim' are One. Hence people from all religious backgrounds used to visit Saibaba to seek his advise and help. Why again there is rift in the minds of the above? Even Sri Sathya Sai baba now preach the Unity of all religions of the world. People have to eschew the bitterness and hatred and love all. Do you feel that people irrespective of religious beliefs love each other as brothers?

I read this book by a women Choo Thomas and in it she claims to have been visited by God and taken on a journey through heaven and hell. The book is called something like "Heaven is a reality". In her chapter on hell she tells how God showed her hell and how everyone who did not accept His word was damned to an eternity there. But she also said that God was sad because some people had to go to hell. Now this raises some questions for instance why if God is saddened by the plight of the damned did he send them to hell. Why didnt he just change the admission rules so that anyone of any faith could get to heaven. For instance Cho mentions her parents are in Hell because "they never knew the Lord". If God is sad and he did it, it makes it seem like he MUST send people to hell and that he is bound by certain rules and regulations (made by whom?) Suggesting he is not all powerfull. I found this a little strange. Can these claims be refuted Biblically? Or just by applying some common sense.

The first Christian churches were held in peoples houses.What do you think about a church that Praises Jesus,worships and thanks Jesus in singing and worshiping and giving glory to Jesus that will be ushering in the Holy Spirit.Having no preacher,but letting the Holy Spirit speak through the congregation.So who ever the Holy Spirit chooses to speak through a word of knowledge or whatever the Holy Spirit wants it will be done God's way so man is submissive to God,In another words cut out the middle man that has formed his set of guidelines.,rules regulations and time Many churches worship and try to impress the pastor instead of giving all the glory to God.,.
