As long as people have fears, low self esteems and choose to judge each other without first placing judgment on ones self No.
A person has to truly love ones own self despite our own failures before we can truly love another.

Considering attempts at building Utopias in the past, they don't have a good track record, but you never know, if everybody is truly commited, it could work. These days instead of calling it a Utopian community, they call it an intentional community. If you go to http://www.ic.org , you can find a directory of thousands of intentional communities, based on various ideas, maybe you will find some ideas that appeal to you, it's always worth a shot, there are plenty of people that want to give it a try....

The hippie communes in the 60's tried it Huxley's society in "A Brave New World" were doing it. LOL They failed! Why? They were both run on drug cultures. Running away from problems will not work in having a compassionate, understanding and loving culture. It's an inside job. One of changing self through self awareness and the Help of Another (capitals are intentional). Man is a prideful, greedy creature. He looks for getting, not giving. And when he gives there is a motive for it. He doesn't give for the sake of giving. Until he realizes that it is better to give than to receive, the Utopian society will not work. We can not change others, we can only try to change ourselves. Then by example, and with great Hope, others will change.
Gandhi said it rightly:
"Be the change you want to see in the world"

Yes, it is possible. IF we all follow the teachings of Jesus, and act like Him, it is very possible. We cant get everyone to do it, but if we do this and one by one grow in numbers, then we can show the world what can happen when a nation turns back to God and obeys. One day at a time, one step at a time. and , even if all dont come into this line of thinking, we can grow in such massive numbers that we can still make a big difference. Just think if everyone in your workplace acted like Jesus,?? no stirve, no chaos, no turmoil? And what about in your neighborhood? Just think. It is those that wont follow Jesus that make the world so full of rebellion, anger, hate, and every form of disgusting sin there is.
Follow Jesus, He really is the ONLY way.

Yes, but not in this system.........Satan still rules.........but God's kingdom is coming and it alone will bring the conditions we desire.
Daniel 2:44...“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;
Psalm 37:10-11....And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace

I dont believe so, people will always have lingering thoughts int he back of their mind about how things could be just a little better, no matter how good theyve got it. If you give someone a utopia they will want whats outside of it, if you give people hell they will beg for mercy for utopia, its jsut the way of the world

With only 200 years or less throughout known history of no known warfare, it seems unlikely. But it is a nice thought

Unless we build a global society there will always be disputes over issues such as territory, sovereignty, resource, or ideology. I don't see capitalism as innately evil.
