in the Pet Sematary?

2007-05-07 00:28:01 · 11 answers · asked by Sir Alex 6

I wept this morning upon waking. The memory of ill deeds done 35 years ago , given to Christ 28 years ago. Every once in a while I have to crucify the old man in me again.

I am reminded that there are no good men. Every once in a while , he tries to come out. If I slack in my devotions , sometimes he wins.

Is anyone else fighting this battle? Once I thought I wasso strong that I could not fall. I did.

The Bible's propehecies concerning the end times warn us to expect Christ's return. We are either approaching that season or in that season.
Here are the signs recorded in the Bible of the last days.

People living as if God didn't exist

Vacuum in world leadership

Explosion of knowledge and freedom of travel

Wars and rumours of wars

Widespread acceptance of immoral behaviour

Human leader declares himself to be god

Increased demonic activity

Widespread abandonment of the Christian faith

Evidence of breakdown in families

Spirit of selfishness and materialism

General disrespect for others

People ridiculing God's Word

Significant shifts in political power and influence

ANY OF THESE SOUND FAMILIAR???

Prepare to meet thy God!

I think the Bible is just a book, a really interesting, at times beautiful book, but just a book none the less. The Koran is better, but I'm afraid to say anything bad about it for fear of starting a riot. I am open minded, I think for myself, and I wish everyone else would too. I don't believe in Hell. If Jesus was The Son of God, then so am I. I've never been married, but I've had lots of sex, I've even made Love a few times. I think that the very notion of considering the idea of Intelligent Design as a Scientific Theory is ludicrous. I know how to spell ludicrous. I think its OK to be Gay, mainly because its none of my buisness what you do with your own genitalia.I think that the people who are the most outspoken against homosexuality are secretly homosexual themselves. I don't personally believe in abortion, but I don't think it should be illegal. Finally, this one is the clincher, I'm sure: God is Dog, spelled backwards, in numerology, that would mean they are equal.

Which relgion most enlivens the spirit of man, which is most inclusive of all relgions which is most valid and most beautiful.

List them in order if you think you have an understanding of a range of them, share a story of how one has touched and enlivened you, or freed you from ignorance and fear if you wish.

10 points for the clearest insight!

Good is everything.

existence? NO one knows everything. I only ask for an open mind that creation may have a creator.

Darwin said himself "To suppose the human eye could have been formed by natural selection seems, I freely confess, absurd to the highest degree."

Because those who own the media want you to think that. Here is my proof (bear with me). We all know the big problem of the drug trade in the US. Suppose the non-U.S. media decided to make all of their stories on peoples lives that were ruined by drugs and alcohol in the states and how many drug busts. How many murders and hits were done because of drugs. Talking about the world of upper class drug use and its downfalls. Showing how the drugs come in and about thier cartels etc... Imagine this is the news heard everyday in Europe, Asia and Africa about the US for 6 years. What would the average non-American think about Americans and does that really reflect America or its values???

And to you Anti-Islamers, are you really individuals with your own mind or are you remote control puppets of hate???

How this whole thing about who goes to heaven and who doesn't works. It seems to me, that often the criteria for entry is based on random birth circumstance more than anything, i.e. if you are born and raised in a Christian environment or have been exposed to the Christian options you hold the trump cards. How does this work if we are all born equal or are all gods children
