Good morning...Because He is the creator and doesn't need to exist properly as like His children. God as far as we know, has always been the Spirit within us (His children). He's the rock of our faith. God is the entity of life. In my opinion He did exist thru His son Jesus Christ. God walked this earth in human form thru His son. Since God is a spirit or entity or even the possibility of a great energy force, maybe He can't become human himself but only can create humans. God is mysterious and only shows what He wants us to see. God is unpredictable. God is the truth and the light.Maybe God feels that He can do better by staying up in Heaven then being here on earth. He's probably better off staying in Heaven with all the corruption that's taking place here on earth. Have a blessed day!

If your interpretation of 'god' as being a solid object to look upon, or listen to, or feel; they can exist in the chair your sitting on, or the desk, or anything your imagination can think of. Trying to make 'god' exist has been the quest of humans for millennia-it started with paganism.

Because He doesn't exist. If I knew that someone was molesting children I would try to have it stopped. God looked the other way for decades while priests were doing it.

Just my opinion, because if God was present as a human being form, then free will would be defeated. He may just not want to been seen so he doesn't influence us to the point we feel intimidated and do what he says. He wants us to believe in Him and make choices based on being tested by the good and bad!!
He gave us a brain, and the right to make choices by His word.

GOD is the unknowable essence. Our understanding is very limited of Him. We know Him by His creation and His Prophets.
Similar is the relationship between a flower and the gardener. We are the flower.
