We will do the same." You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

For that matter in the light of vs 32 above can you really nail anything to the cross without violating this command?

Light has baffled even scientists...it has weight like matter ...and it has wave-length as energy.. so it is still a mystery to define Light

Those on the path of spirituality see Light always during mediation, yoga or Tantra

Many see the Supreme Consciousness (God) as light

In Yoga seeing various colors of lights is very common.

Is Light a link between the creator and the created (or manifested).

Is the 144,000 dogma put forth by the Jehova's Witnesses the biggest exegetical blunder known to man? Or is it the "resistible Grace/Man's will superceding God's" promoted by the Roman Catholics? :P Heya, just kiddin' about the Catholic party, brothers and sisters in Christ.

That we were all spirit "brothers and sisters", including Jesus Christ, and Lucifer (before he became Satan)? They just say something like "Mormons believe that Satan was Jesus' brother" or something like that, and I can't figure out why they don't tell the whole story, since I know they know it. I know I've told the whole story here in Y!A many times, yet, they still don't tell it right! What is the big deal?

LUCIFER was a spirit "brother" to all of us, but when he fell and became Satan, he was no-one's brother, spirit or otherwise, including Jesus. He has no hope, no happiness, and no claim on the inheritance of Christ. Jesus is still the only BEGOTTEN of God, still Messiah, still the second member of the Godhead. Lucifer is nothing.

I was just wondering why committing to one partner would be important to God. It seems to especially contradict his desire for humans to get out there and populate the earth. What is it about a monogamous relationship that made God call any other relationship a sin? Why couldn't consenting adults have multiple partners?

I don't need you to tell me "the Bible says so", I want you to tell me WHY the Bible says so.

I have no faith in God its like half the world actually are crazy believing that one man created everything. Who made 'him' then? And explain evolution? Did 'he' create the dinosaurs even before man existed. For crying out loud we are animals that have created our own civilisation through hard work and learning through history. All that business about on monday he created this and sunday had a day off.. man created days.. man created the idea of god to stop his (her) self going mad, asking why are we here etc?! So yeah did 'he' create the dinosaurs then?

Many people just with the title knows that I can be only speaking about Mohamed, many muslims insist that was usual this but after asking a teacher of history in Oxford he specified that NOT AT ALL.

Some parents arranged the marriage of their children for mutal convenience so the girl could be in puverty over 12 and the boy usually around or under age, NEVER, ABSOLUTLEY NEVER a man in his 50s marrying a child of 6.

My question is for so-called critics of islamic women. Are u know what markos (Ex-Philippine President) once said about women( remember he was pointing towards Mrs. Akino , his opponent) Once he said that women places are only two one in kitchen and the other is____- ( i donot mention these words, being a dishonour to women as i am a muslim. Was he ( Mr. Markos used to be a Muslim?

ok ok i have actually had some christian fundies say that we were alive with the dinosaurs. that doesnt make any sense since dinosaurs were meat eaters who were bigger, stronger, faster, and (in many cases) smarter than us?

If they were never brainwashed when they were kids and not just told what to believe in a religion by their parents... how many Christians do you think there would be today?
Do you still think if would be a strong global religion?

Like let's say they made a new law where it's illegal to make your child go to church, or to force them to read a bible or anything like that. If it was up to the child to grow up and select THEIR own religion or lack of...

Personally I think Chrisitanity and all religion would fall and crumple pretty quickly. Religions are only fairy tales that we believed as a child because of fear of death and hell. The intelligent people then drop these beliefs after childhood. Unfortunately most humans aren't intelligent.
