That we were all spirit "brothers and sisters", including Jesus Christ, and Lucifer (before he became Satan)? They just say something like "Mormons believe that Satan was Jesus' brother" or something like that, and I can't figure out why they don't tell the whole story, since I know they know it. I know I've told the whole story here in Y!A many times, yet, they still don't tell it right! What is the big deal?

LUCIFER was a spirit "brother" to all of us, but when he fell and became Satan, he was no-one's brother, spirit or otherwise, including Jesus. He has no hope, no happiness, and no claim on the inheritance of Christ. Jesus is still the only BEGOTTEN of God, still Messiah, still the second member of the Godhead. Lucifer is nothing.

Walter Martin was never descended from Brigham Young. And if he lied about that, what else would he lie about?

They use it as ammo against the church, when it makes sense even if you are not a Mormon and you do not believe that everyone is spirit borhters and sisters, you can at least respect in a way that it could make sense.

I like the christian story better, satan was an angel (that God had created) praised in heaven, he was the guardian cherub, someone correct me if I am wrong, I am a new christian, but satan wanted to be worshipped, so his pride made him sin and he was cast down to earth with the 1/3 of host of heaven. isaiah 14:12, Ezekiel 28:12-19. It just makes more sence that the savior of the world would not be related to the most evil person of the world. The christian version puts satan in his place, he is a created being and thus is less powerful and does not have the power that God has, in the Mormon version, he is a God and is high and mighty and when I was a Mormon, I was always told that satan was after me, and almost died three times because of this great fear, my dad even told me that at any time, I could be possessed by this demonic devil. In christianity, satan does not have that kind of power, because he is a created being and when jesu died on the cross, his power was taken away. Genesis 3:15.

I as a Christian am not anti-Mormon,as I have had wonderful Mormon friends in the past....I do not however, subscribe to Mormon theology...The 2 greatest points of contention are these :1. Mormon theology denies the divinity of Jesus Christ.. 2. The belief that as God is,man may become...

Interestingly enough and quite ironically, I do follow the teachings of a great-grandson of Brigham Young by the name of Dr. Robert O. Young Phd..author of the book the "Ph Miracle" and founder of the "Inner Light inc"...absolutly brilliant man...I have a great deal of media that he has produced.

I also have a lot of material by another "supposed" decendant of Brigham Young...by the name of Dr. Walter Martin..author of the "Kingdom of the Cults"
