I have no faith in God its like half the world actually are crazy believing that one man created everything. Who made 'him' then? And explain evolution? Did 'he' create the dinosaurs even before man existed. For crying out loud we are animals that have created our own civilisation through hard work and learning through history. All that business about on monday he created this and sunday had a day off.. man created days.. man created the idea of god to stop his (her) self going mad, asking why are we here etc?! So yeah did 'he' create the dinosaurs then?

your ideas make about as much sense as a 747 airplane flying over a junkyard and then dropping a bomb on the junkyard which results in a massive explosion and the elements and particles, metal scraps trash, copper etc flying up into the air and forming into a 380 Airbus fully functional
and ready to board passengers. Read the Bible man!

Hi...We all have our own beliefs and ideals when it comes to evolution and if God created such creatures. I fortunately was raised to believe that God created the universe and man. But however I do have an open-mind about certain views and issues. In my opinion, there was a greater force that created the universe. And this same force or Entity created evolution. I believe that God had His hand in this some how even if it was just to start the DNA process. I feel that once God started the initial act that Evolution took over so do speak. God was not a man, He was an entity or great spirit. And yes it was written that He formed the earth and the universe in 6 days and made the 7th day Holy to worship Him. We all have our own ideas or views on this issue. Those of us that believe in God are not crazy we just have our own beliefs, those who believe scientifically are not crazy either because they look at evolution realistically and scientifically instead of faith. But that doesn't mean they don't believe in God. So to answer your question, I believe that God started the DNA process but Evolution created the dinosaur. Have a great day!

Well thats up to your point of view. I have been told by a preacher once that there were dinosaurs on the arc. I personaly think this is a little far fetched. I for one believe in god and evolution. I believe that we did evolve from one celled organisms over millions of years, but was there a higher power that "sparked" life?? So for me i guess yes God did create dinosaurs and us, if only by getting things started. I should also tell you that my idea of God is much different then the father figure on a throne that most Christians hold as there idea of God, more of a living spirit in all things then a ruler that dictates our lives and wills.

I don’t know that “God” is the appropriate word, but dinosaurs, like all other life, were likely created by someone or some thing. It is unlikely that life appeared out of nothingness without there being someone or some thing behind it. As for your comments about God creating so and so on Monday and resting on Sunday, I agree. The Genesis story is a very unlikely explanation of how it all started.

Well, I believe in a "Creator". I believe in evolution; and I see no problem with believing in that "Creator" creating evolution. If one wants to call this "Creator" "God" so be it. Therefore, in my world, God created the this world, and everything in it: evolution, the dinosaurs, man, and man's evolution from fish to human.
I see no contradiction because I don't take the Bible literally. I cannot believe in stories that read like fairy tales. But when scientists can definitively tell me HOW the world was created, then I'll give up my Creator, if I can't find a place for Him in that new theory.

Hi nhldarlington. Yes God did create dinosaurs. God tells us he created Man and all animals on the sixth day. In Genesis 1:24-25 God tells us:

"Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good."

Some people believe the earth is billions of years old but this is impossible. The Bible tells us the earth is a little more than 13,000 years old. Defiantly not billions of years old.

Some people try to rely on carbon 14 dating, the problem is, if you are using carbon 14 dating, you have to assume that the carbon reservoir remained constant all the way back through history. This cannot be proven. Their conclusion will be a guess at best.

Carbon 14 dating is very accurate up to about 13,000 years. After that it varies, and it varies wildly.

I was at a museum a while back and there was a display of dinosaur bones. The sign said the bones were between 60,000 and 100,000 years old. That's a margin of 40,000 years for mistake. That is not science my friend, that's guess work.

For those who say that days or nights were thousands of hours long, that would be impossible. In Genesis 1:11-13 God tells us He created plants and fruits on the third day:

"Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so...13 So the evening and the morning were the third day."

On the forth day He created day and night. In Genesis 1:14-19 God tells us:

"Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and year...16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day."

Now, if the days were thousands of hours long all of the vegetation on the earth would have burned up because of all the sunlight. If the nights were thousands of hours long all of the vegetation on the earth would have died because vegetation needs light to grow, but too much sun or too much darkness will kill the vegetation. God created 4 seasons and He created 24 hour days, just like it is now.

I don't see why not. God's day sin't a 24 hour one as the Bible thumpers might have you convinced. I always like to think that God's day is as long as God might have it be.That could be a billion years or so, thereby opening up the ability for evolution and creation to exist together at the same time.
Just because some guy wrote down in 7 days God created the heavens and the earth doesn't meant it took God 7 physical days. We humans have no idea how long God's "day" is.

Yes. Not one man, ONE GOD! Evolution is in the Bible you just have to read Genesis. Every creature after it's own kind.
Last time I checked cats are cats and dogs are dogs. Plus a day to God is beyond our understanding. Dinosaurs are no different, just different. That's all. God has a sense of humor too. How is a dinosaur different from any other beast?

Just like everything else in the Universe, (and yes religious people, there are billions upon billions of life forms in the Universe) was created by "The Big Energy" call it what ever you like...We are all part of this energy and it is no God as depicted by any mainstream religions.. Love and Light... BB.. )O(
