Here is one of the many citations in the Bible, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, and from one end of heaven to the other" (Matthew 24:31).

If he doesn't hear praise, he is not amused? Also, does he need to hear you telling him he's holy and he's the greatest?

And does the Bible god need to hear a lot of praise as well?

Do you church people realise that your gods do not seem like real deities? They seem more like demi-gods.

Though I have only had heterosexual experiences because that is what was expected of me, I believe I am lesbian. I am putting this question in this category because I want the opinion of Christians who might not go into the section for gays and lesbians. I am definitely a Christian with a full saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to know if God will be able to forgive me if the time comes that I act on my lesbian desires. Like I said, at this point I have not acted on them yet. I just want to know for sure I won't go straight to hell if I meet another woman. I don't want to do anything like one-night stands. I am a relationship type of person and want to fall in love with a woman before anything happens. I believe in True Love Waits. However, after all I have been through trying to fit into a heterosexual world is tearing me up inside. I need to be myself just as God made me.

The geologist who's spent years studying and observing how the earth works, how rocks form, and how old the earth is...or the creationist who can't tell the difference between quartz and halite?

The biologist who's spent years studying DNA patterns, similarities between species, evolutionary paths, and genetic makeup...or the creationist who maybe took a biology course in high school?

The paleantologist who spent years studying ancient species, thoroughly understands the dating process, and has physically held the bones of species that are millions of years old...or the creationist who's experience is limited to watching Jurrasic Park on TV?

The anthropologist who's spent years studying human evolution, dug up relics tens of thousands of years old, studied fossils that slowly morph from ape to human...or the creationist who thinks Leaky is a boat with a hole in it?

if Starbucks printed this statement on one of their cups?

"Why in moments of crisis do we ask Allah for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure."

Yet, Starbucks printed this statement, substituting "God" for "Allah:" http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55564

Tell me what u think the implications about men is in this passage. (whether or not u accept it as religiously valid). Genesis 34, "Now Dinah the daughter Leah had borne to Jacob, went out to visit the women of the land. When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, the ruler of that area saw her, he took her and violated her. His heart was drawn to Dinah, daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke tenderly to her. And Shechem said to his father Hamor, 'Get me this girl as my wife'."

Was it because of guilt or do u think he really loved her? Doesn't that seem odd?

I've been told the reason god does not provide any evidence of his existence is because he wants people to decide for themselves.

In a couple of days the proof will be finally revealed after millennia - does that mean people will not be able to decide any more? Will everybody go to heaven or hell after that?

If it's hell, they are pawns of satan and must be stopped!

If it's heaven, how can they delay providing the proof and therefore not help save everybody who dies in the meantime?
