The geologist who's spent years studying and observing how the earth works, how rocks form, and how old the earth is...or the creationist who can't tell the difference between quartz and halite?
The biologist who's spent years studying DNA patterns, similarities between species, evolutionary paths, and genetic makeup...or the creationist who maybe took a biology course in high school?
The paleantologist who spent years studying ancient species, thoroughly understands the dating process, and has physically held the bones of species that are millions of years old...or the creationist who's experience is limited to watching Jurrasic Park on TV?
The anthropologist who's spent years studying human evolution, dug up relics tens of thousands of years old, studied fossils that slowly morph from ape to human...or the creationist who thinks Leaky is a boat with a hole in it?

Of all the world's scientists in fields that relate to our origins, less than 1/10th of 1% believe that creation is even an OPTION.

Jennyann - Maybe. I'm not arguing ID, I'm saying that those who believe in Genesis's version of creation often have no clue what they're talking about.

You're argument is sound.
However, sadly irrelevant.
As you can see above- most people believe what they *want* to believe, which has little or no tie to reality or truth.

There is only one that knows more G O D. He is the creator of everything on this planet, people, animals and beyond. He, through his helpers, give information to all of the above scientists. His angels guide us.
Of the above, I feel the Biologist is most important to our planet and well-being followed closely by the Geologist. The other two study our past and we must look instead to the future.

The geologist, the biologist, the palaeontologist, the anthropologist and the scientist have all been a blessing to our world however, they are all human beings just like you and me. They can neither prove nor disprove God.
I can prove that you and I both are sinful and that we can not always do the right thing even if we try as hard as we can. We still mess up our lives and the lives of others.
God Himself, in the form of the human being Jesus, came down from Heaven to take the place of our sins and to die in our place for them.
Jesus is God and He is human but, unlike the geologist, the biologist, the paleontologist, the anthropologist, the scientist, you and me, He had no sin. That is the reason He could take our place for our sins.
Acceptance of Jesus as our Lord and Savior and repentance, which means to turn away from those sins, is all that God requires for us to live eternally. I can't prove this to you but, He can if you ask Him to. Peace

Truth is relative, but it terrifies me the number of children who are being taught faith instead of science. A book written before science was even around. Written by man for man about God. They can mingle. I believe science simply tells us how the Gods did it. Then again, my faith doesn't have a book telling me everything either.

Does this mean the geology and biology doctorates that came with my deluxe DVD of _Jurassic Park_ aren't any good?
Oh, well, I'll still go with the experts over the religious crackpots.

You know more, great pseudo-science-stroker guy! You do! Our truth is a spiritual one. Yours is physical, in a sense, and that's fine. But you need to realize that in whole-heartedly accepting these ideas that you have, you are making spiritual decisions on what truth is. I know my truth to be found in Jesus Christ and the Bible. You know otherwise, obviously. So once again...

You assume that the geologist, biologist, paleontologist and anthropologists cannot be Christian. Many are.
You also assume that our "credentials" are simple high school science courses and television. Some of us have studied much more than that.

Hmm, tricky.
Since all that science mumbo jumbo is put there by Lucifer himself, and it is the bible thumpin', God fearin' Christian who knows God's will. Since God is infinite then God's will must be infinite, so that the bible thumpin', god fearin' Christian who knows God's will knows more than that lyin' Satan worshipin' commie atheist of a scientist.
Just in case you are unsure, yes, I am being sarcastic.
