I see humor when Jesus wanted to wash Peter's feet and Peter didn't want him to and Jesus said unless he could wash him he (Peter) could have not part in Him. Peter responded, not just my feet, but my head etc. I believe Peter had a humble sense of humor.

The Bible speaks of laughter as a merry drugs it really is nice for the middle (medical doctors say laughter is healthful on many degrees by the way) - and it also takes an exceedingly dim view of exact pranks and dirty profane jokes. regrettably i do no longer bear in mind the position those scriptures are placed. some in the former testomony and some in the hot testomony. they are there - i have study them adequate circumstances i'm thoroughly surprised I cant bear in mind the position they are at. i'd upload.., that there are some circumstances of humor and surely one of my favorites is the scene the position Moses comes down from the Holy Mountain to discover many of the Hebrews partying and worshiping the golden calf....., And Aaron tries to provide up excuses (he's the fellow who shaped the Golden Calf I remind you, to soothe the disgruntled human beings) and more effective or a lot less tells Moses.., "Uhm.., i don't understand what occurred! I made this fireplace and POOF! Out comes this golden calf!!! and that i stand back and prefer DUDE!" Moses does no longer even respond to Aaron's evident attempt at protecting his keester. In my recommendations I see Moses rolling his eyes - and is extremely dissatisfied with the heathen movements of his human beings. Now do not get me incorrect - this became an exceedingly extreme count - yet as a kind of observer, you %. up on issues after the actual shown truth that do have humor even in the midst of a few thing very bleak.

Since the texts are so old, we may miss the humor by being so far removed culturally from the jokes. However, the book of Jonah is pretty funny. A prophet tries to run away from God, gets swallowed by a whale, gets spit up on the beach, preaches repentance and then is mad when the people repent, tells God what to do, etc. Read it seriously to get the humor.

Genesis 0:0 - And Yahweh said to the other gods, "Watch this guys, I'm really going to screw with their heads this time." And Odin, Zues, Murduc, Brahman and all the other gods began to laugh out loud and roll on the floor.

There is a passage in the Bible that talks about 2 men kissing. I don't know if you'd find that funny or not.

If you prefer dry sarcasm, then try the parables that Jesus told in the presence of the Pharisees.
He often told people parables that referred to the Pharisees right in front of the Pharisees... which, of course, they probably didn't like... and they usually carried a slight air of sarcasm.
I always get a kick out of it...

There is some humor in the Bible, like the story of the fat king who was stabbed and his fat not only "swallowed" the sword but also the handle of the sword. Not sure if it was meant to be funny but its one of my favorites.

One of my favorites is Song of Solomon 8:8,9
8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?
9 If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.

I was going to leave an example, however, I didn't much like your added statement:
"oh wait...the bible itself is a joke!"
so............
You go without!
Now that was funny!

No, I don't think there is any. There's some laughable stuff, but it's unintentional.
