Why does Pastor Melissa Scott try to force Greek & Hebrew on viewers? What's wrong with English?

Any translation has it's limitations but English is a good language for Americans to use to understand the bible. Pastor Melissa Scott's Greek has a lot of mistakes according to professors of Greek and people from Greece.

Since the scriptures were originally written in Greek (New Testament) and Hebrew (Old Testament), it is wise to go back and see what the original language syas rather then have to use someones translation.

Hopefully you know enough about the original languages to know that the Koine Greek in which the New Testament was written is a very different langugage from what is used by Greeks today. Consider how much English has changed in the 400 years since Shakespeare wrote, then imagine what the difference would be at 2000 years. We are 2000 year separated from the Greek of the New Testament, so of course a person who only speaks modern Greek would find the Koine Greek to be difficult to understand, and the meaning of many of the word to have changed.

Personally, I like to look up the original Greek and Hebrew words with E-Sword. It's foolish to think English is somehow "better" than the original languages.
