I think the Bible is just a book, a really interesting, at times beautiful book, but just a book none the less. The Koran is better, but I'm afraid to say anything bad about it for fear of starting a riot. I am open minded, I think for myself, and I wish everyone else would too. I don't believe in Hell. If Jesus was The Son of God, then so am I. I've never been married, but I've had lots of sex, I've even made Love a few times. I think that the very notion of considering the idea of Intelligent Design as a Scientific Theory is ludicrous. I know how to spell ludicrous. I think its OK to be Gay, mainly because its none of my buisness what you do with your own genitalia.I think that the people who are the most outspoken against homosexuality are secretly homosexual themselves. I don't personally believe in abortion, but I don't think it should be illegal. Finally, this one is the clincher, I'm sure: God is Dog, spelled backwards, in numerology, that would mean they are equal.

No, you are not going to hell. It is a mythical place invented by the early Christian leaders to try to "convince" others to convert.
As for your opinions, you sound like a very open minded reasonable person. I agree with your principles. Since I don't believe in the Abrahamic God, and my Gods and Goddesses are referred by their names, I have no problem with your assertion that God is Dog, and yes they would have the same numerical meaning. I believe that we are all equal, all humans, animals, plants, trees, the whole shebang. Every being on Mother Earth is essential to continued life on Earth and needs to be respected. I hope this helps.

WoW! Just what, exactly WHAT is your question??? Or is it that you want us all to know what you believe?
Ok...you may have some strange or weird ideas....but...if you are actually looking for an answer to whether you're going to hell or not, I believe "NO! YOU"RE NOT!!'
The reason is that you seem to have, ( like most of us) some things to learn. Therefore..when you die, you will go to Hell...BUT Hell means the grave, as many intelligent people here on Yahoo believe. Some of us believe in the resurrection, and even for people like yourself, who don't believe in Jesus, or God, you will be given an opportunity, at some point, after your death, to accept Jesus and the truth. IF, after that, you will NOT change, God will send you to the lake of fire, where you'll be consumed by fre, burned up completely, as if you never existed. So.. keep you various "philosophies" for now...until you know better...or until the Creator of that "just a book" has a little talk with you, and gives you a chance to clean up your act! ( God and Dog are equal????) I sure hope that you might change some of your thinking, in the future, in your next life, OR..."Stick you with a fork! You're done!!!"

Hi! you say you're open minded? Then why don't you believe in a God that Loves? Why don't you believe in Hell? Yes, you were born in the image of the most high God and you are a son/prince of the most high God!
homosexuals, God adores them, they are his children he just hates the sin they are committing. If homosexuality was something God wanted then he would have made Adam and Eve with the same genitalia, makes sense to me.
Abortion, is murder! Period in any situation no matter what! Sometimes when a child is created the situation, time factor, or whatever isn't perfect or the ideal situation, but that child has the right to be born at all costs in all circumstances. Abortion is murder and a huge sin against God. No one has the right to take a life!!!
The God Dog thing, well that just shows me the level of your limited mental maturity, but I'll pray for you though!
And last but not least...Are you going to hell, well that's none of my business, that's between you and God!

I'll go along with that. Say, seeing as how you can spell ludicrous and are pretty handy with the verbiage would you mind throwing out a bit or two about there and their, to, too, and two, and such like in your next question? I feel certain that I will not be the only reader who would thank you. Thank you for a well structured and easily read and understood question. By the way, the answer is no, you are not going to hell in the conventional sense of the word. If you plan on being buried when you die, the answer is yes you are going to hell.

At the present rate, yes, you are going to hell. If you believe the Bible is just a book and nothing else, then you must realize that's just an opinion. I am outspoken against homosexuality, yet I am not a homosexual myself. You are wrong in that belief. You should consider that you may be wrong about a couple of other things you mentioned in this posting, too. The Bible, which you don't believe, tells you how to go to heaven. I will believe it before I'll believe you.

You are a Christian, so it is that much more difficult for me to explain, but actually as I have understood it, going to hell or heaven is the same thing, though it looks vastly different. It is because, both are temporary and get exhausted with the time that is assigned to us depending on what good or bad did we do.

The desire of being born as a human being with proper knowledge of the divine, is what a wise devotee should desire.

I am a Hindu, and it does not mean that I am spiritually superior to you. But I know for sure that we have better to achieve than just aspiring for heavens! In fact a fall from the heavens is more torturous than an upliftment from hell. But for me both are same.

Are you going to Hell?

Nobody but God can say that, we have no rights to pass judgment. And anyone that does so is sinning. The only thing we could tell you is what you apparently already know and that is what the Bible says about getting to Heaven.

Do I personally think you will go to Hell? I feel personally that if you live your life for good, and not bad, that your soul will go to Heaven. But again this is my opinion and I can't pass judgment on anyone.

you are a highly open minded person and I do appreciate that. but I think you had not studied religions deeply. I expect that you read somewhat about some religions or in some religious books. but I am sure that you had not given your self the chance to read deeply and to feel in religion which I am sure (as an open-minded and religious person together ) it will change the taste of your life and will give a new perspective that you haven't experienced before.

give yourself the chance. I invite you to read this site

So why are you asking? Sounds like you got a pretty good head on your shoulders.
Que sera, sera. Live and let live. Let the chips fall where they may. And all that fun stuff.
Just keep doin what you've been doing. Nobody knows what happens after we die, so there's no point in even worrying about it. Live life, have fun, and treat others as you would want to be treated.
Peace.

If you're going to hell, (which by the way in the Bible is gehenna, or the valley of Hinnom, just south of Jerusalem) can you check the price of a loaf of bread at the local shopping mall? I heard it's really special.
