A true religion is found in the heart. It isn't who thumps their bible the hardest or makes bashing statements. You teach by example not by words. The true word of God is written in every heart. The proof is knowing that everyone knows at a very young age what is truly right and wrong. God will not judge an entire religion but each person by whats in their hearts. I find it sad that so many argue who is the real religion when they are all trying to follow the same goal.
The race to heaven isn't necessary because all that finish are winners.
Following a set of guidelines is not what it is all about. God never told humans how to dress or act all he asked for was to know he is God and that he gave us life. A simple thank you is the praise he desires. Many fall from his grace for false reasons they blame him for the evil men do. They deny him because he gave us free will. Everyone wants proof that he exist but even if he stood out and said i am God almighty how many would believe him? Even if he performed miracles, how many would think it was an illusion? The truth is everyone wants proof but no one is willing to accept it and see it for what it truly is. I don't belong to any religion and in a way I belong to all religions.
Many humans are stuck because they allow all the sugarcoating man has placed over religion that they do not see, clouding their vision of the truth.

True religion is whatever it may be to each individual. God doesn't really use the word "religion"; as it is man made. Rather than religion, God wants us to be spiritual; to have a relationship with God, and to be a follower of the Savior that He sent for all of us..Jesus.
So, in my opinion, following Christ would make people Christians. I believe then, that Christianity would be the truth. Using the word "religion" really doesn't matter..it's whether an individual is spiritual in their heart.
To explain further, Catholicism, Protestanism, etc. are "religions" and come under the heading of Christianity. Many people in various "churches" are very spiritual, However, just being in a church, any church, doesn't mean that an individual is spiritual. True spirituality comes with knowing Gods' word, obeying it, praying, love, kindness, communication and fellowship with Christ, etc..and is a gift from God.

Any religion is 'true' if you believe it to be so. We used to think the earth was flat until it was proved otherwise. The same result will occur with religion. In some distant future(not too distant hopefully) the world will take all of good aspects of religious teachings and combine this the natural laws of science and nature we have discovered, and only then will mankind progress to true enlightenment.

Your question is like asking which Marvel superhero is the real one.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Christianity fullfills all the prophesies in the Torah (Old Testament) and is both internally consistent and yet clearly supernatural - it is a story that no human could have made up at the time. God as man was fairly common in Pagan religions, but God as man suffering Death for humanity? Pagan Gods were like teh Legion of Superheroes - being of human lusts with superhuman powers to pillage and destroy. A God of Love was a shattering concept - the ultimate Good News.
It spread around the Globe in spite of persecution without being spread at the point of a sword like more savage religions. It has stood the test of time, in spite of occasional lapses into theocracy, where Churchmen sought secular rather than spiritual power. It's the real deal.

One that doesnt claim to be the only true religion. One that does not promise everlasting life, or everlasting torment. One that does not lead to mass murder and torture a many do. One that permeates the universe with love, beauty and truth, and calls everyone, believers and unbelievers alike, its own.

Obviously, the people who are religious are going to answer that only their religion is true and all the others are false. That's the thing about religion - denial is of paramount importance.

a true religion guides you to believe the existence of a higher power than yourself, what you do will somehow affect you and this belief will guide you to a better conduct of life. what religion is it, you better go ask somebody who can teach u about it and not simply refer here. don't look at people who say they embrace the religion but what they do are of th opposite because you know, people tend to take things to their convenience

Religion, i don't condone it, nor believe in it! Religion brings division, fighting, and hate.
I believe in Jesus Christ and his word, the bible!. Jesus hated religion because of the division. God wants unity, religion separates!
Religion is a man made thing, it's not of God, nor was it created by God!
