Hey, whats up? I'm going to try to help you. You right in your assumption about the Bible being bias and modified. Its actually been manipulated. You will only find your answer by doing your own self study on the subject, like I have. Its kind of like being on a quest. Start with a man named Sir Francis Bacon. He Retranslated the Bible for King James, yes THE King James. King James never wrote a Bible, he was illiterate. I've been questing for a long time, because I'm like you. But even though most everything I have found isnt very nice, I still have Faith in God and Jesus. Becuase what I have found is that ( THEY ) have not given us the whole truth about Jesus. Jesus was more than what we know. The bad part is alot was the things we should know were burnt and destroyed by the dumbass Romans.
My best advice to you is start your own Quest for YOUR OWN truth. Its out there waiting for YOU. I bet you can almost feel it calling you sometimes? If you have any questions I'll be here.
God Bless You and good luck.

Good point, and one that the Bible itself makes (1 Thessalonians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 15:29-32). To have faith in God, Jesus and the Bible you need to study the Bible, look for the truth and pray to God that if he is real, to show you the truth. Then if you really look he will reveal himself to you (Acts 17:27).
You're right about the Bible being changed as well, because at the end of the day we are reading a translation. Mostly, all Bible versions are very similar, although there are some differences. I study the Bible with the Jehovah's Witnesses, and if you ask them about this subject, they'll be happy to give you some convincing answers (especially regarding scriptures like John 1:1, which is used to back up the trinity).
Incidently, 'Jehovah' is actually God's name and originally appears in the Bible nearly 7000 times, although most versions change it to 'God' or 'Lord'. You should find it in most dictionary's though.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine.
1 Corinthians 15:29-32
Otherwise, what will they do who are being baptized for the purpose of [being] dead ones? If the dead are not to be raised up at all, why are they also being baptized for the purpose of [being] such? Why are we also in peril every hour? Daily I face death. This I affirm by the exultation over YOU, brothers, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. If, like men, I have fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, of what good is it to me? If the dead are not to be raised up, “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we are to die.”
Acts 17:27
for them to seek God, if they might grope for him and really find him, although, in fact, he is not far off from each one of us
John 1:1
In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
(regarding John 1:1 most other Bibles at the end put 'and the Word was God'. A small difference, that carries a big difference in meaning. I know, but you'll have to prove it to yourself. Any Jehovah's Witness would be able to explain why)

Secular non-believers views on the Bible are Biased and modified. because they cannot understand the Bible nor do they have the ability to understand the Bible.
1Cr 2:14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means.
1Cr 2:15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all.
2 Tim. 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." Paul who wrote this epistle was obviously referring to the entirety of the Old Testament as being inspired. The word "inspired" is literally "God breathed." This is an interesting phrase since it implies that the Scriptures are from the mouth of God. Likewise, Peter says in 2 Pet. 1:21, "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." Notice that Peter is stating that prophecy is not the product of human will. Instead, prophecy occurs by those moved by the Holy Spirit.

Look at logic involved. The universe is spinning around so fast it should fly apart, but it won't fly apart because God is in control. Look around you at all the living things; this just didn't happen which means somebody is responsible. Being a responsible parent God wrote and gave us the blue print of how to enjoy life. That is what the bible is.................you need to get a bible translation you can understand

You really can't... at least, not after really looking into it.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Try this.
1. The idea of any religion is to be a good and honest person.
2. If you live by the guidelines (Bible or Koran) they will generally keep you in the right direction.
3. It is your choice to worship Jesus or Allah or God.

The closest interpreted Bible is the King James Version. It has been the least altered of all the bibles. God gives us the Bible to learn how to act, to learn the life of Jesus, to see what He did for us. You need to feel God. You can only be saved by faith. People who tell you it is a load of bologna are just here to try to deter you from seeking the truth. I don't know why they do it, but they are compelled to turn everyone away from God. Don't let anything sway you. God Bless.

Jesus and the Bible never disagree. The Bible is not modified. It is not biased either, how can the truth be biased?

The best way is to go to a church service and hear a sermon about the bible. I would recommend, Baptist, Assembly Of God or Non denomination church next Sunday morning.
