I don't think I've lied about anything today - - though I'm at work so surely there must be something I haven't told the complete truth about....

"I'm fine, how are you?"

It wasn't true, but I'm not sure it qualifies as lying. Everyone knows that it's a customary greeting, not a real question. I went through a stage in my twenties when I refused to ask or answer that type greeting because it seemed dishonest to me. But then so many people were offended and felt I didn't care about them (which was untrue), I started looking at it as representative of connection, and not a legitimate question and answer. Context, I suppose.

I can't think of any lie I told today. That either means I did well today, or I'm oblivious to something I did. (insert raised eyebrow here....)

;o)

It's too early for me to lie yet today.

I'm more of an "omit the truth" type, than outright lie.

Telling lies makes me uncomfortable, although I am good at it. I've lied to myself most of my life. Thus ,my inner need to be so open and honest here and 360, I guess.

I honestly can't think of anything. I try to be as truthful as possible.

I did consider it for a moment when one of the first graders asked me if it would be okay to write something in her card to a terminally ill child about living a long time. I had to think long and hard what to say, but I finally decided that it was best to just tell her that this child probably wouldn't live for a very long time. Sad, but much better than letting that child live in a delusional world.

That was 8 hours ago, and I don't think I lied yesterday. I work to be a truthfull person, so that I don't have to try to recall what lies I've told. Learned that a long time ago.
I just woke up a little bit ago and so haven't lied so far and plan on keeping it that way.

Great question Uncle Wayne.

I made plans with a friend earlier this week and she called to say that she had to back out of them but that she was really sorry, I didn't want her to feel bad so I lied and told her that I was planning on calling her anyway to cancel because I had been scheduled to work but that maybe we could reschedule and hang out some other time.

I used to lie but since I grew up and faced life and reality, I learned lying never pays. It just causes problems, so I have chosen not to lie anymore... besides, liars have a place reserved in hell....not my choice for eternity.

I didn't lie per se, but I feigned interest in a number of customers' sob stories. There's a fine line between BS and PR.
