for the first apes to evolve into homo-erectus, it took about 5 MILLION years.

YET, for homo-erectus to evovle into modern day humans, it took about TEN THOUSAND years.

if you take a look at the differences of pre-historic apes and homo-erectus, you will see there is about as much difference between those 2 as there are for homo-erectus and modern-day human.

how come one takes longer? by millions of years?!?!?! evolution is flawed.

since i was little ive always had my doubts i dont believe any of it..my husband knows how i feel about it but i go anyway. this sunday there were "supposedly" miracles.. people were falling & cancer was being cured..this preacher guy came and was doing all this but i think its bogus! i think all these people are brainwashed! for money! this guy "cured" most of the church members.. i wanted to walk out, i thought it was ridiculous! there was a disabled kid, & i was waiting for the preacher to give me the benefit of the doubt & cure him.. but everytime he went near this disabled kid, his wife pulled him to another direction.. i mean c'mon!! IF there is one god then why:
-is there so many diff. religions, how do u know which one is true?

-magic, miracles & voodoo.. whats the difference? its almost the same... these "miracles" are the same as magic..

-how do u know god is a god & not the devil in disguise?

_do u really believe someone could survive in a fish for 7 days?

No, we're not, so stop thinking that we're supposed to be perfect because you know that only Lord Jesus Christ is!

I said a few bad things, so what! If you're a Christian then you should accept who I am and be happy that I'm alive and well instead of saying bad things about me! We are all connected in some way!!

I'm telling you, they are a "laff-riot" as they used to say on movie posters. Actually they're as dry as dust, you would think they were grandma's old furniture up there in the attic, which I guess they are, kind of,science & everything else having passed them by. Anyway, check out the responses to my last question. And remember - I was just kind of kidding them. Try to imagine if you ever went in for some Serious Satire! "Sinners in the Hands of An Angry Atheist!!!" Bet they'd like to pull my little wings off.

and its not just christians its almost every faith. im tired of it. im sick of hearing that your faith is the right one cause god told your prophets or whatever that this was the one true faith. i dont want some random guy walking up to me asking me if i heard the word. how dare you tell me that if i dont convert to your faith that i will burn in hell. hell does not exist to me. anyways just please stop pushing your faith on people, i think its one of the worst things you can do. let that person find faith on thier own. o and i do believe in god but its a personal god within me and i believe within every piece of matter in the universe.

fear 'Death'. ???

Please don't say you don't fear it. I can tell a lot of you do by the answers you have given to other questions.

I am not christian, but i do have my beliefs.

Therefore when my time comes i will embrace it. And i know for a 'fact' that it will not and could not be heaven 'or' hell.

No pasting please. Only straight from the horses mouth....

To save Judaism and its pure message..... therefore guaranteeing that they will continue to keep the holy covenant and it would not be lost to the Jews who accepted Jesus as a redeemer and uniter (Messiah) ?

Then he re-directed Christians to go to the Non Jews knowing that would take the pressure off judaism -- and he could also add Mithraism to make it more acceptable to the gentiles.

Matt 10:5-6)--- Jesus sent out these 12 after giving them instructions: "Don't take the road leading to other nations, and don't enter any Samaritan town. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Matthew 15:24) He (Jesus) replied, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

(Matt 18:11) "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."

God's Word reveals that the veil of the temple that separated the Holy of Holies from sinful man was tom open by God (Mat. 27:51).

Man can now come directly to God through faith in the shed blood of the Savior (Rom. 3:2326).

Priests are no longer needed to offer sacrifices for sin (Heb. 10:18).

The only legitimate priesthood which remains on earth is the royal priesthood of all believers.

I'm sure many of you have seen the Da Vinci Code. What are you thoughts on the theory of Jesus being married? I think it's very possible. Not saying it's true, but it's a possible theory. Christians want to believe that Jesus was perfect and sinless...since when did being married mean being sinful? Share your thoughts.

Everything that has ever happened, will happen, is possible of happening. Every future, every death, every breath that is taken, every potential life, and the ultimate future, the outcome of his 'war' with Satan.
Why does he bother through with it? If he knows he would win, without a doubt, and know exactly how it would play out, and the end result ...
Then why bother with creating the human race and all the time in between creation and final death? Why give humans such a great time to squirm and struggle on earth? Is it out of sadism, having designed a brilliantly prolonged suffering to go along with his victory?

Christians do believe it that he was a holyMan. Only few are insistent of making him Son of God.

There are no Roman, Jewish, or any other historical records, that confirms that Jesus existed, except for Bible which was too written 200 years after Jesus died.
And Josephus is the only source referencing Jesus twice in his work, and that's too fabricated.

I respect your beliefs.. but we should educate and discuss things in rather flexible manner.

Your belief is cuz of parents or its your innate inspiration?

If God exists, he is truth itself.

If God is truth, then seeking truth is seeking God, or loving God.

One cannot honestly seek truth without putting all things into question and seeing what comes out in the truth-wash.

Therefore, questioning the existance of God is loving God.
