NO – Perfection cannot be humanly obtained. (Perfection = Sinlessness)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:10
"The heart is the most deceitful thing there is, and desperately wicked. No one can really know how bad it is! Only the Lord knows!" Jer. 17:9, 10.
"The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who are wise, who want to please God. But no, all have strayed away; all are rotten with sin. Not one is good, not one!" Psalm 14:2, 3.
"We are all infected and impure with sin. When we put on our
prized robes of righteousness we find they are but filthy rags." Is. 64:5, 6.
NOTE: Only one man was perfect and without sin—Jesus Christ
YES--Perfection is possible through good works.
"As the Son of man was perfect in His life, so His followers are to be PERFECT in their life. A well-balanced character is formed by single ACTS WELL PERFORMED. One defect, cultivated instead of being overcome, makes the man imperfect, and closes against him the gate of the Holy City. . . . In all the redeemed host not one defect will be seen. . . . " The Faith I Live By, page 44,
"Christ has given us no assurance that to attain perfection of character is an easy matter." My Life Today, page 271

Well if you're a true Christian, you would strive to become more like your Lord Jesus, to become a better person, and wouldn't have said "a few bad things" or anything like this. I'm not saying if you were a true Christian you would magically become a perfect person and make no mistakes or commit any sins, but you would get to the point where you would actually see the good come out in you and much less of the bad. If other Christians can't accept you because you screw up some times, then they themselves need to attempt to become better Christians and learn to accept people for how they are and never say anything bad about anyone. Can you think of a verse from the Bible where Jesus said bad things about his enemies or those who criticized him? I can't.

Even Jesus is imperfect. Jesus was never sinless. He was born of a human woman who had original sin so that would make him still sinful.
He was angered at the temple with the moneychangers and made a whip out of lashings and kicked over tables and yelled and screamed and whipped the sales people out of the temple.
Losing his temper was just one way to show that he was, at least here on earth, imperfect. Which is just how he was supposed to be.
You are right though Christians are not perfect and should claim to be nor held to that standard.

Many of the christians in my life have been lunatics. I do say that with complete honesty.
I do have two great examples of true and good christians. They lead by example. They helped their fellow man. They did good things for others. They truly cared for others and were genuine for their concerne.
Some christians think that you are forgive if only you ask.
Some think that you are automatically forgiven.
I think that forgiving is something that man created. God himself understands that humans are innately imperfect and does not expect perfect behavoir, he loves us with unconditional love. If God expects and gives nothing but unconditional love, the idea of perfection and forgivness fall way.

I don't think anyone believes Christians are perfect.
Yes, we are all connected. All things are a part of God and an expression of God's thought. The Mind of God was the force which propelled and perpetuated these thoughts. All minds, as thoughts of God, do everything God imagined. Everything that came into being is an aspect of the One Mind.

this is the mistake many people make...NO christian's arent perfect, and they are not the only one's forgiven. This is why it is wrong to think that...first off, we all come from the same source, right? Regardless of the fact that you might be christian, I might be wiccan....GUESS WHAT peeps? We are all human's branched from the same energy...we are one....so no....they are no more perfect, or forgiven than any other...no offense to christians...I am just putting it bluntly and to the point

Of course not perfect. I do accept who you are.
I will not judge you
I will not condem you
I will turn you away when in need... that is the not Christian way.
but it doesn't mean I agree with it. It doesn't mean I should turn away and let you do what you do that is consider a sin. It doesn't mean I should describe you for what you are.
If you a drug user, you are a drug user.
If you are a cheater, you are a cheater
If you are... etc...
My question is What is with the anger? and what is with sensitive of what people say about you.

No one is perfect, whether you are a Christian or not. But most people even Christians tend to judge another when they slip or fall, instead of helping them up and praying for them. We are all progressing daily.

Of course you aren't perfect, but feel free to continually strive to be better. If a bunch of Christians are telling you that something about your behavior doesn't seem right, maybe they're on to something. Would it hurt to consider what they're saying and possibly have to change something about yourself instead of just getting defensive about it? What exactly is it that you are defending, anyway?
