If so, on what grounds? What if they repent? Do you know of any churches that do this? Do you agree or disagree with this practice? Why or why not?

Okay, there are a lot of people who say the end is near and we will all suffer because we don't believe.
I am curious.

I accept that if I am wrong and He is real, I will have to pay the price. I am fine with that.
I am just baffled why people can't see that IF this God is real, He is not to be worshipped.
The Bible, from beginning to end works toward the ultimate Revelation, right?
So, even though God is said to be the one who created all, from the beginning, he was planning on coming down and taking everyone worthy to heaven while the rest are punished.
Hence, no more world.
Do you not think that resembles a game of chess?
Do you think it would be ok to worship a famous chess player then?
To me, the only difference is they are not so widely known with a book published hundreds of times over and banking on the naivet of mankind to buy.

Let me know your opinions, but please don't be mean to me...lol

The nature or nurture question is dead...its nature and the only remaining questions deal with the specifics of how it happens, not where it happens.

Studies conclusively prove that a persons chance of being homosexual increases astronomically with successive births of a single gender.

So, if your mom gives birth to children in this sequence:

1. Boy
2. Boy
3. Boy
4. Boy

Every boy born born further down an UNINTERRUPTED SEQUENCE (interrupted by birth of female) of boys has a higher chance of being homosexual.

At this point, it appears to be a process that occurs in the womb, essentially, the womans body is expecting a female, or in other words, theres some biochemical process that attempts to insure balance of the sexes, which triggers.

Odd that God would make such a process...aint it?

Recent wars (and many past wars) have been because of differences in relegion doctrines; even amongst people of same race. If God is love, then fighting due to religion differences is the biggest hypocrisy of them all.

The term "fear of God". It is often used in the Bible, what does it mean? you say he`s a loving god but then why fear? love isn`t love anymore if it`s based on fear isn`t it?

p.s. Christians, this is a serious question, i`m just trying to understand you guys.

Saul was happily minding his own business persecuting christians when Jesus smacked him in the head with a personal appearance to lay a guilt trip on him. If god allows us free-will, is this the version of free-will that he gave Saul?

I see these numbers constantly for a period of time, sometimes for five days or a week, and then it stops. Then in a few months or years, it starts to happen again. It is really weird, and I see them on the clock (i.e. wake up at 4:44, get voice mails at 4:44, or with the minute hand at 44), or see license plates and addresses made up of mostly 4s, etc. I used to think my internal clock was causing me to look at the clock at "44" minutes, but the number appears on stuff that is out of my control, like the time I receive e-mails, etc. Any idea what this means? It is really weird.

I think it's so funny how a lot of the Christians here on Yahoo Answers get so worked up over us atheists being here. I get the feeling a lot of them have never met an atheist before, so they're shocked to see how many of us there really is, and I think they feel threatened. Yeah, some of us atheists do get a bit catty and antagonistic, but so do some of the Christians. That's just how the Internet is. It's a great place to be overly outspoken. Like it or not, our numbers are rising. Don't you think it's time to stop getting all worked up about it and just get used to us?
