Even satan believes and trembles, according to the Bible and you know where he's headed! Sorry, but it's not enough to just believe in God. The Bible clearly says that you must be born again (read in Luke about Nicodemus and Jesus' conversation). Ask Jesus into your heart, accept His sacrificial dying for you, repent and forgive others. Then, be willing to follow Jesus who is the WAY, the Truth and the Life. Then, the Holy Spirit will indwell you, give you understanding of God's Holy Word, guide you and comfort you. If you truly love God/Jesus, you will believe His Word to be True. Furthermore, Jesus had more to say about hell in the Bible than Heaven. Hell is real. And unless you are made a new creation, thru a relatioship with Jesus (born again), you will not end up in heaven, but hell ---whether you believe it exists or not it not relavant to it's reality. Sorry to be so blunt, but I do not want you to chance your eternal future any longer. For who knows how many more yrs, hrs, minutes you have on this earth to make a wise choice!! God bless you.

While I wouldn't say the bible is complete bull, I would agree with you that its not the Ultimate Answer To Life, The Universe, and Everything. In other words, just because someone wrote it down, and someone else mistranslated it, and someone else mistranslated that, and then someone started a religion about it, doesn't mean you need to believe it. Unless, of course, it makes you happy to believe it. Or something like that.
My advice is, if you think you're going to hell, get your money's worth. Why just sin when you can *Sin*?

There is neither heaven or hell. Were there such, the Chrsitian god would have created a race of people whose only purpose was that the VAST majority of them would be tortured forever. This is the sign of a sadistic individual, with serious mental illness. I cannot believe in such a being.

Rather, as a Pagan, I believe that our purpose is to learn and grow through repeated lifetimes. I don't know the ultimate outcome, but I don't need to right now.

My purpose here is to make whatever contribution I can, to learn, to grow, and to be what I can. That's all.

Just believing in God is not enough to get you to heaven...
Satan believes in God too and he is definitely going to hell.
We are not headed for hell just because we doubt the Bible. Every person has a choice. They can choose to love the God who created them, or they can choose not to love Him. Those who love Him, will want to do what pleases Him. You doubt the Bible because somebody probably told you it is full of fables.... but likely you have never read it or had someone to help you understand it. I challenge you to pick it up again and read it for yourself, not just trusting the ignorant judgement of others who have probably not read it either. You need to prove it is bogus by reading it and disproving the truths you find in it. I suggest you also read the book by Lee Strobel, 'a case for faith'. He was a sceptic just like you.

"Am I Going To Hell?" Only if you insist. ".I believe there's a God", Great the devil believes that too and he trembles. "Furthermore...what if there is no hell?" Then God is a liar and we have no hope. The grave is all that is in our future, No love , no beauty... That is really sad.... Jim

So you're a theist, but not a judeo-christian. Well, it's not perfect, but it's a start.

you would go to the belief-o-matic, to help you find a religion
http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html
or to the library where you can check out The God Delusion, and decide religion isn't right for you after all.

It's all right not to believe in the Bible. It's just a book, that, in the wrong hands, can be oppressive. (Never give a book that much power.)

And if there is no hell...well I guess you have nothing to worry about! LOL! :)

You are not on the path to Heaven but no one can say that you are definitely going to hell. As long as you live there is still hope that your heart will be opened to the truth that all have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard of justice but He loved us so much that He sent his one and only son Jesus to die in our place.

John 3:16-21 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been carried out in God."

I didn't become a Christian until I was 43 years old. Up until that time I was on my way to hell but God saved me and gave me the gift of faith.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

To go to Heaven, you have to repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost
Acts 2:38
I will let you determine what the ultimate destination is in your life.

Only if that is the path that you choose. You have 2 choices and God leaves that choice up to you. The path to Him or the path away from Him.
