That's a great question. Reading some of the answers are mere assertions reflecting a preconceived bias. "Why didn't God inspire the whole Bible up front?" answer, "because God doesn't exist." Oh, ok, thanks for your input but can you please articulate why you dont believe God exists in light of the fact that every culture on the planet worships some kind of deity or deities? Why are we wired to worship a highter being, something greater than ourselves? Yes, much of worship is mere idolatry and at least they recognize that we don't live in a closed universe.
God gave His revelation progressively to lead up to the greatest revelation of Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, His eteranl Son. Jesus said, "you search the Scriptures (the Old Testament) for in them you think you have eternal life, but these are they which testify of Me." (JOhn 5:39). Another good text is Luke 24:24-27 and 44-47. Galatians 4:4 says in the "fulness of time, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those born under the law." Ultimately, we have to let God be God (he actually does a better job than you and I ever could) and trust His wisdom to bring His plan to completion on His time table. God made covenants and promises in the Old Testament and as history began to unfold with each passing century, we can see HIs promises being fulfilled so that we can trust Him as the faithful God.

You would think if he did exist and he wanted to get his message across free of interpitation that that's exactly how he would've done it. In fact instead of inspiring people to write the bible why did he not pen the entire book himself? Could it posibly be because it is not an inspired or holy work after all, could it rather be man's interpitation of that which he did not understand coupled with the folklore of the day borrowed by other religious sources? Chances are that's what really happened thus the bible we have today is nothing but a hodgepodge of idea's stories and contradiction.

Some believe he did, but the book was kept secret. It's called Providence. Consider; There were 70 generations in the OT world. According to Providence, each had a role to play out. The roles were predetermined, even Jesus's role. Some think that the Magi had read that book.

He did, actually, but the poor old duffer never got the hang of this linear time gag. It's one of the reasons he doesn't show up so often anymore, imagine one moment you're being carted around in a little wooden box by a bunch of peripatetic Levites, and the next moment the Rabbi turns up to pick you up in his Range Rover, it's all much too dynamic for an irascible, peace-hating, storm god. I'm not surprised that he keeps wiping us off the face of the Earth.

Or why not just inspire all people directly like he did the prophets? That would be fast, efficient, and it would work for sure. This demonstrates perfectly that the whole thing was made up by cavemen.

Because God has never inspired one word of the bible, the bible was inspired by priests and scribes not God.

And why didnt he come up with a mass distribution program so ALL of his people could read it, not just a few in the middle east? Does that mean he didnt give a flip about people in Asia, or North America or Africa ect?

He did, but it's not "hebrew," it 's 2,400 years older as given to his chosen people of "Egypt." The pyramid texts. Within the papyri of the priest Nu of the period you will find the prophesy of the DIVINE BABE who is to come from god in heaven. A "prophesy" made around 2600 years before Yezua (Jesus) comes on earth.................
