Along with Best Answer that gives ten points, we could also have Worst Answer that takes away ten points. Make many Trolls think twice about what they post. I just took the Yahoo Answers Poll and told them this. What do you think?

If you do, have you noticed whether there has been an increase or a decline in the people that worship? Just wondering?

All have scholars who know the original texts and languages of the Bible...all feel inspired by God.

However, each religion interprets some of the same scriptures differently....which is correct? Which is of God?

Serious question....how can they all be right if they all interpret scripture differently?

I ask this because I once listened to a long speech from an African American about how America was doing so well whilst other others 'over there'- the Middle East I presume- were materially worse off.
I found it ironic considering the wealth of many Western countries was... how shall I put this.. 'transferred' over from the colonies alongside slave workers- his ancestors.

So was this a pleasing act to God? Is this why the West prospered.. dare I say at the expense of the countries whose natural resources were 'borrowed'?

If they were smart, why did they disobey god knowing the consequences? If they were dumb, why did god make such stupid people?

They changed their name too,now they're Chabad, active on campuses everything. Story now is Rabbi Shleeman was only considered the messiah by a "certain element",and then they chuckle indulgently. It was really just the older members, you see. They've also switched from those dinky bowler hats to these big wide-brimmed fedoras, and between that & the Burly Build they emphasize they look like Al Capone. How do you go from claiming your Main Man is God to going respectable in ten years flat? I mean,Senor Bush is nuts about these guys. Any background dope on this?

Before answering you have to be able to use your imagination on this and answer as if you actually were faced with this choice.Ready?Ok....

If you, a believer (if you're not a believer assume you are for this), were given a choice between continuing to believe in your faith but be poor and have little impact on the world OR being given all the money you could ever want or need and certainly enough to be a major philanthropist along with all the power to make the world a better place for everyone but could NOT be a believer anymore, which would you choose?

Would you choose your faith?Or would you choose to be the most wealthiest and most influential person in modern times who could be responsible for an end to starvation and many other of the worlds problems with your influence and/or wealth?

In order to answer this question you have to choose between one choice or the other. If you try to choose both you won't suceed in this test.

And you found there all the people you considered sinners in life (murderers etc.) would you feel cheated by God?

Similarly if there were people there from other religions or athiests and agnostics, would you feel God had cheated you? Or would you accept that this was the way it was meant to be?

okay...so if the bible is fact, then we are all decendants of adam and eve right? and if iam not mistaken, adam and eve had 2 children (Cain and Abel)...so how did we decend from that?
my boyfriend (who grew up with a pretty religious mother) and a friend of ours were talking about the bible friday night and he feels that none of it makes sense and that if you are smart you wouldnt believe in god (i dont think i agrgee with him on that) but they brought up the fact that there (in the bible) was a big flood (?) that wiped out everybody and that we are (according to the bible) decendants of Noah and not adam/eve...seeing as i have no knowledge of the bible can someone who is knowledgable about this stuff kind of explain it to me?

If it is Biblical....why don't more churches practice it?

Are these people misinterpreting the Bible...how can so many religions read the same Bible and interpret it differently?

Which among you are correct in your interpretations? Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Catholics, Jews, Baptists, Episcopalians, Methodists or the Amish?

Seriously, which religion is right in your determination...and don't give me any of this "sunday school" verse regurgitation of those that believe that Jesus is the son of God and raised from the dead...are true....

Specifically, which of the above religion do you feel are true religions and which ones have the members that will burn in the fiery pits of hell?

I for one do not believe that an all-loving God would do this thing. I believe the men that wrote that this was the penalty for sin did it based on clearing their conscience of those that they roasted on the stakes. Who wants to follow a cruel God?

For those who strongly believe in a particular religion, you therefore have to dismiss all other religions, correct? I mean if you believe in Jesus, you certainly don't believe that Mohamed was a prophet, right? He had to be some sort of misguided individual or delusional, or maybe just a con artist. The same is true vice versa if you believe in Mohamed. And if you're Christian or maybe Islam, you don't believe in Budha, and you know that Zeus was just a myth - like all other religions. All those other religiouns had to be man-made or invented, correct? There are no OTHER gods. Those 1000's of other religions are made up.
Well atheists believe in the same thing about all those other religions. The only difference is they also know that your religion and god are made up.

So then aren't atheists and religious folks almost the same in their religious beliefs?

According to Christians, only those who are SAVED by accepting Jesus Christ are SAVED from eternal fire! Is this not the biggest gun to ones head to try and force compliance? Accept me or Burn? What is that but a threat. So your All Loving God threatens from his jealousy stand-point? No wonder sAtAn left his light!

Holy Bible
20th book in the Old Testament; 31 chapters.
Try reading these for a month and see if the Holy Spirit won't bring something to your remembrance in a time of need.
The devil only tempts us, we make the chioces to do whatever. God's word will come to you in a time of need. It's a promise through the Holy Spirit. Arm yourself with this weapon for spiritual warfare.

Inspite of what I read constantly on Y!A, in my Bible I can't find the words Trinity or Rapture. And what bothers me most, nowhere in my Bible does it say that the snake that deceived Eve, was actually Satan.

Has there been an update of the Bible that I'm not aware of?

See my friend shares a common, not hatred, but more of an ignorance toward Catholics.

He thinks you pray to Mary, and dont read the Bible, that your oppinions are based completely on Priests, and that you are entirely ritualistic.

I know otherwise, but i just want to know frist hand what Catholics do.

Who do you pray to, whats your doctrine.

Please no copy and paste crap, this is to end the ignorance of a good friend from and actual Catholic.
