Ok, instead of complaining that some person that does not believe like we do, is reporting us, why don't we pray that one day he too will come to know God? IS that such a bad thing that we are reported for standing up for God?

I dont believe we are created evil nor do I believe we are punished for what our forefathers have done.

These concepts are in primitive cultures and pagan religions..... not the Abrahamic religions.

We discussed in Bible study about listening for God and following his direction. Has anyone here tried it? I have and we are on our way down a new path.

To all my atheist detractors:

I will pray for your salvation.

Hmm I was just pondering things today... a few random thoughts came to mind...

I'm talking from a Christian perspective here, being that the one I have.
I guess this would be aimed at anyone from any religion... just switch respectively the Holy days and Holy places I mention, with your own.

I was just wondering... even if one is destined for Hell... if they die on a Sunday... would they still go to Hell? 'Cause Sunday is a good day, right? Do you think it would make a difference if you died on a Holy day as opposed to any other?

And what if you die in a Church? 'Cause a Church is a sanctuary, a Holy place. I won't believe for a second that people could be sucked into Hell from a Church.

What if... they die in a Church on a Sunday? o__o Double bonus, lol.

Imagining one was destined for Hell, but met one of the criteria above? Do you think they'd still go to Hell?

Lol... random thoughts here. Kinda silly really.

Just wondering what you all thought, lol.

Remember, though! You'd be this religion down to a T for the WHOLE DAY.

Hey, even if you're not going to participate, at least say why.

If it was a real day, I'd participate just for the chance to live life differently, give things a try. Think I'd try being Islamic... or maybe Amish. That'd be interesting...

And a homework assignment for you guys, because most of you have jobs and thusly have no homework! Look up three FACTS about the religion you're choosing to be for the day, and post 'em up in your answer.

For example, don't say for Scientology: 1) It's retarded. You could say something like... they don't allow medication to be used. I think they don't, at least. Blah.

Well. This is meant to keep you guys busy and thinking for a while. Have fun!

The most common criticism of megachurches is that they draw members away from smaller churches. The vast majority of North American church-goers attend small churches of fewer than 200.[

Critics of megachurches claim that such churches are more concerned with entertainment than religion, earning them the nickname "Disney Church". Rev. Al Sharpton has claimed that such churches focus on personal morality issues while ignoring social justice.
I disagree Jesus said trust no man but trust in christ I go to mega Church and the Pastor even said go to other churches to support them. I look at it this way if you are helping to incrase the kindom of God What wrong?
The sad part Christin are saying such negitive thing to other and that is not the way of christ we shall love each other and If you fill it wrong PRAY!
Beside read the bible for yourself!
Who has sin cast the first stone!
[You wonder why people go away from churches is because of Hypocrite.

There seems to a lot of refining going on these days..we will reflect His image someday so hold fast.

Malachi 3:3 says "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver."

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to
hold the the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought agathe silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as
to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she
thought again about the verse that says: "He sits as a refiner and
purifier of silver." She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had
to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being
refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the
silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was
in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it
would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do
you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered,
"Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it."

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his
eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
