I do not try to be original. I can imagine the question is asked before. But I'm a member since two days and I'm just curious after answers.

Each generation stumbles across this question and finds it a fascinating and powerful puzzle. The difficulty is that it has less to do with the nature of God than it has to do with faulty logic.

That is a paradox theists have a very crappy answer for.
Basically, that all powerful doesn't mean all powerful.

So although God has to bow to the human conception of logic, he doesn't to the physical world.

If he can't make that stone, then how can he do anything else illogical? Turning a staff into a snake is just as illogical scientifically.
You will probably be insulted, and some others will say "yes" because they have not read the question.

Good job. By asking this, you have unburdened your mind one little bit more.

Nope. If He could not lift it He would not be omnipotent, and therefore by definition would not be God. So this silly question is actually asking if God can create a situation in which He is not God. Nope. Because God is by nature eternal and omnipresent, which means He is by nature God in all times, places and situations. There is nothing God cannot do because He lacks the power to do it; but there are things He cannot do because such acts would violate the very nature of God.

There once was a mighty stone that even God could not
lift. This created stone would become Earth, the center of
the universe. The rock we live on today is Earth, the planet
of iron,gas, and life.
Word of the lord:Thanks be to God.

If we judged ability and power upon our limitations and weakness, this might be a valid question. Since we do not...well, you know.

It would be considered asinine and peurile if someone said that Stephen Hawking wasn't so smart because he couldn't come up with a scientific principle that he couldn't understand. We don't use these "witty" and "original" arguments with the rest of the human race, so there's no reason to entertain it with a deity.

Better question. Can Almighty God create a stone so heavy Chuck Norris can't lift it?

Jigoku, of direction G-d can not create a stone that he can not raise. this may be a classic occasion of the cut back of G-d's power. meaning, he's barely constrained via his lack of ability to cut back Himself. i comprehend on the commencing up that sounds slightly humorous, yet once you think of approximately it for a on an identical time because it may start to make greater sense. wish I helped, The Mouse

This is an illogical and contradictory question which does not deserve a reply.

Sort like asking, "Can God make a round square?"

Ever read "The Bible Of Norris"?
It tells how Chuck Norris created Earth by round house kicking Ninjas.
I live my life by that book.

wait then..that means that he would be able to make a stone he could not lift then right? but that would be temporary because as soon as he wanted to lift it again he could.
