Those times are most likely when you aren't getting what you want, or having what you expected, or feel as if you are unlovable....which are nothing more than thoughts.

Do you ever feel like that when you are having a "perfect" moment at work, or with friends, or completing a project to your satisfaction? Probably not.

Most people want to make god responsible for their happiness, because they don't realize that the power of choice (free will) can't be taken away by anyone. Only YOU can decide to change the way you see the world. There will always be thoughts moving through the mind. YOU can decide which ones you wll entertain or pursue. If you choose for thoughts of unworthiness, loneliness, bitterness, or lack of any kind, that is what you will experience. However...

If you will begin to find a reason to praise, even in the midst of what seem like overwhelming challenges, you will find your life begins to change for the positive. If you will express gratitude (that doesn't mean faking it by saying "thanks" for a gift you hate), you will find the universe begins to lay wonders at your feet.

The world you find outside is produced by what you sow inside.

Lady..I wish I did not have to answer you about this in the open...not that I am ashamed at all, but its a sad and very personal question.

I love God with all my being, but I too sometimes think, and I know its simply a negative thought, that God has forgotten me. I very seldome ask for anything for myself, usually its for other people. Still, I have to remind myself, God loves me and if he is not answering me right now, then he must know that its not the right time or I am asking for the wrong thing and need to accept the answer he has given me. Or...maybe I just was so turned in on myself that I missed the answer...this has happened to me.

I also admit to trying to tell God what I want the answer to be, lol...I think that makes him laugh, lol. The bottom line is, God does not forget you...or anyone...and its not because "you turned from him". Just be patient, God is still there and knows what is going on....he WILL always be there for you...Talk To Him.

God never forgets. He just has better things to do besides pay attention to us sometimes...sorta like the ignored family pet that's locked outside in a rain storm while everyone else is inside nice and cozy enjoying a warm meal. Every now and then when we've suffered enough and made enough noise he'll remember to let us in and feed us some gruel.

Look up "Footprints in the Sand", an inspirational poem on the internet if you are not familiar with it.

We, as humans are much more guilty of forgetting about God than He is forgetting about us. In my experience remembering God is a good way to know He has not forgotten me. When I make decisions with Him in mind, my life is not as inclined to get to the point of wondering if He has forgotten me. The few times it has happened, I just waited and Lo and behold! there God popped up again, Johnny-on-the-spot! Even the times I wasn't really sure I wanted Him around, if you know what I mean!

Don't worry, He hasn't forgotten you. How could he when he sees every sparrow when it falls? You are worth much more to God than a lowly sparrow.

Be patient, keep you soul quiet, and you will find eachother again.

God never leaves you. Sometimes you will go through hardships, but he will always be there for you.

There is this quote that I heard along time ago, I'm not sure where I even heard it now, but its about two sets of footprints walking down the beach. God says to a man. "That's us walking down the beach." But then one set of footprints was disappeared, and the man asks God. "Why did you leave me?" God said to the man. "I didn't, That's where I carried you."

Believing that invisible things are watching you, listening to you, influencing your life are symptoms of a schizoid mental disorder that should be treated by a psychiatrist without delay. In some cases this disorder evolves in a full blown mental disease that can have dire consequences.
You should seek treatment as soon as possible. The psychiatrist can treat your depression and your delusions at the same time. You will feel so much better, give it a try dear.

I have a deep certainty that our Heavenly Father knows and loves each of us personally and is very mindful of our circumstances.

For me sometimes the closeness can disappear temporarily even if I've done nothing wrong, perhaps to help me appreciate it more. It's easy for us to take the feeling for granted.

Are not five sparrows sold for 2 farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
But even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
