We discussed in Bible study about listening for God and following his direction. Has anyone here tried it? I have and we are on our way down a new path.

To all my atheist detractors:

I will pray for your salvation.

listening to God is the key to a closeness in our relationship with Him. Since He is God we need to take the time to be still before Him. We are so quick to tell God what He should do, instead of us taking time to be quiet to find out what He wants from us. that can be scary but oh so fulfilling.

It's in the quiet time, when we finally shut up, that we can have a two way relationship with Him. Instead of us just dumping our wants/needs on Him and turning around and walking away.

I can just see him now saying, " Hey....I wanted to say something...please come back!"
