Before answering you have to be able to use your imagination on this and answer as if you actually were faced with this choice.Ready?Ok....

If you, a believer (if you're not a believer assume you are for this), were given a choice between continuing to believe in your faith but be poor and have little impact on the world OR being given all the money you could ever want or need and certainly enough to be a major philanthropist along with all the power to make the world a better place for everyone but could NOT be a believer anymore, which would you choose?

Would you choose your faith?Or would you choose to be the most wealthiest and most influential person in modern times who could be responsible for an end to starvation and many other of the worlds problems with your influence and/or wealth?

In order to answer this question you have to choose between one choice or the other. If you try to choose both you won't suceed in this test.

I am surprised at how many people would rather save their own soul then end starvation and help humanity.I thought for sure people of faith would rather give up their faith for a chance to be able to help others.I may have been wrong.

I would choose the money. I'd rather other people have a good life at the cost of my afterlife.

keep my faith because you could get a rich person saved and then they could end starvation and as a kid i was bullied for Being poor then i got the bully saved because he saw my peace during the hard times and he in turn got his friends saved so definitely poor and faith because i believe you can save ppl better when your humble then when your rich and selfish and besides there are lots of rich influential ppl but the world is still messed up because they are greedy and they wouldn't help if they could

wealth and power are always tempting things--to believer and nonbeilevers--but I would definitely choose my faith and to be poor. To have all the money in the world but no loving Savior to comfort and love me would be hell. For, to be seperated from God is hell. anyway I guess that's my answer

To YOUR dismay, I know, I know........
I quote you and choose the same:
".......to believe in your faith but be poor and have little impact on the world."

Since you (easily assumed) are NOT in Christ; then you do not have the indwelling Holy Spirit to open you eyes to the TRUTH. All of it sounds ODD to the non-believer; in fact-the scriptures say that the preaching of the CROSS is FOOLISHNESS to them who are PERISHING.

The part that you fail to see is that GOD can take one poor (as in how u prescribed by definition; as in how the whole world assumes "poor" is defined) man or woman; and that ONE person who believes and "makes little impact on the world".........will be used mightily of GOD behind the scenes; and out of your sight, by that ONE POOR SOUL WITH A GREAT FAITH, he or she could share the love of Christ with the ONE RIGHT PERSON that the LORD...WILL, I repeat, WILL use to be a massive impact on the world.

Great minds, great people---do not usually happen in isolation. Many "great" forerunners in the faith, DISCIPLED another.....who turned around and had greater impact.
You do not understand the spiritual things Mr.....b/c you are indeed worldly minded. This not MEANT AT ALL as a slam~it is just a TRUTH that is given by the INERRANT, PERFECT WILL OF GOD, IN HIS INFALLIBLE WORD known as the Bible.

God is not willing, no matter WHAT YOU ALL THINK---HE GRIEVES DEEPLY when his creation CHOOSE to deny HIS calling; His knocking on the doors of your hearts, thru the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT......We are indeed made in HIS IMAGE; and you need to know that GOD WILL NOT impose upon your FREEWILL---EVER! Just try to step out in faith and HE WILL SHOW YOU REVELATORY PROOF OF HIS PAIN WHEN ONE ENTERS HELL. He will. Faith; the ultimate harmful LACK thereof; is the only thing holding you back, brother.

I pray right now that the Holy Spirit will honor this prayer and show you what I speak of; I ask this in perfect faith that you will know the true GOD; who sent His only begotten SON--who is, IS!-the only one worthy to be atonement to bridge this SINFUL CHASM that stops your communication with YOUR MAKER! In this I pray in JESUS NAME. AMEN.

I would choose my faith 110%. Without a shadow of a doubt. I would much rather believe in God and stand a chance of getting into Heaven than go after stupid little worldly luxuries.

I have resigned myself from ever being wealthy or famous, and I've never been happier. I do what I love, and I know that God blesses me just enough to get by, and I'm fine with that. I've had opportunities to do other things that paid better or would have led to bigger and better things, but they wouldn't have been as personally rewarding nor pleasing to God. My religion also teaches that the world sucked before, sucks now, and will suck forever, and nothing will change that until Jesus returns.

I have already made this choice in real life. I was very successful in my business and then started another business. In order to make it work I could have resorted to unchristian like practices and could have sold liquor to make things work. I do not regret my choice and I gave God all my finances. God got me out at my last dollars and now I have to go back to the hard physical work I once did. I love the Lord and would not have it any other way just for success.

I would definitely choose my faith. I'm sure you've heard the story where Satan took Jesus upon a mountain and offered Him the world if He would just worship him. My answer is the same as His" Get the behind me Satan"God Bless!

I was offered money for my Faith and I refused it. because, I can not live without my father in heaven.
no money or man on the face of this earth is Worth giving up God for it.
I make a lot of mistake as I am trying to walk like He did. but, He has been always faithful to me and helped me to get back on again every time. His love without limit.

Think about this issue from an eternal perspective. That is, pretend that you believe that after this life, you will life FOREVER. How important is this unmeasurable blink of mortal existence when compared to FOREVER?

Now you know why believers say that it doesn't profit a man to gain a fortune at the cost of his soul.
