This is exactly the sort of thinking that makes the idea of one being certain they are "saved" so dangerous.
There is no being "saved" then sitting back on your laurels.

As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13).
AMDG is right.

Please take the time to read your bible. We are supposed to keep gods commandments and have faith. The bible says we are saved by faith. However, it also says, Faith without works is dead. Have you ever heard that song, " This Little Light Of Mine"? It goes I'm going to let it shine. The bible says we are in danger of judgment if we do not tell others what we know. At the same time you have to know what you're talking about or you may be misleading or a false prophet. I recommend you get an older bible. They have changed things in the newer ones. Such as they took gods name out and they call Jesus god. Jesus said this means everlasting life taking in accurate knowledge of the father and the son. I do not suggest you take anyone's word for it. There is way to much incorrect information out there.

Remember the story in the Bible of the guys who hit his and Jesus cast them into the tormentors for an eternity. If you truly saved, you will want to share the Gospel. Even though your not very good at it even scared to do it.

If you are alive you are NOT saved.
Salvation is a journey that ends at the moment of your death. Once you stand before God only then will you know if you are saved or not.

If you have repented, been baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost, then you are saved. Otherwise you are not.

If you asked Jesus into your heart, you are saved.
Your talents--God gave them to you.
Can you sing, play an instrument, sing in the choir, help with children's choirs, be a greeter at the door?
SOMETHING?

If you are saved, that is between you and God alone. You will want to serve and obey Him.
