God can put a desire in your heart to do something, but there are times we have our desires and would like to do something that we know would please God, which are good but it may not be what God desires for you to do. I have had alot of desires to do certain things that would be pleasing to God but God had other plans for me, and when I would try to fulfill my desire that I had it never would work out, because God had other plans for me..So ask God and make sure the desire is of God...Also when things like this happens, when you have a desire to do whatever for God and it don't work out because God has other plans for you, then satan can come along and make you feel like a failure, don't let him, he is a liar and the father of liars...stay strong in the Lord.

It could be that God put that desire there (women want men that are kind, loving, strong; another example is God make people want to have children; to serve and help others, etc.).

But it could also be a ungodly desire He didn't put there or it could also be a neutral desire.

I don't know. If it is a ungodly desire of what you want to do (ie. to be a hitman) then it is not from God.

Pray about it! : )

If the desire in your heart does not go against what God teaches us in the bible, is pleasing to God, then go with the desire.... But if it is offensive or disobedient to God... deny yourself. This is maturity and discipline.

"(The right thing)". Desire for hire, just won't get it.
Desire to shine wins all the time.
So get the most from the Holy Ghost.
Then you'll be smokin with something to boast!

If it's sex, DO IT! God loves sex, it was the first thing he told Adam and Eve to go do (Genesis, look it up people)...

If it's smoking, only do it if all your friends are doing it...

If it's to become a priest/nun... weigh your options first, and realize that life is FULL of options...

If it's burn the Bible, just make sure you buy it first...

If it's to start worshiping the sun... IDK, I'd do it...

Everything else, including disobeying your parents, just do it and don't worry about the consequences. That's just the way most of these things have to be resolved.
