There are 1.6 billion Muslims, 0.5 % are extremists and less than that are terrorists. As a Muslim i dont support terror and neither does any Muslim i know.

Nothing like this should ever happen again. Sadly mankind never learns their lessons well and war does continue. Those who believe that there is an event that will destroy many are partly right, but it will not be man against man. Nature is most powerful and is backed by the hand of "God". Even warlike Gods grow tired of man's petty bickering. There is a request to clean the slate and prepare a table for those that respect all living things, those who will sacrifice much to help heal Mother Earth. It is a strange creature, man, who preaches love, peace, and a belief in the all mighty yet will turn his face from the poor, the different, and will kill out of jealousy and greed. Even those who follow their religion faithfully still do not extend themselves beyond their little domain. Rather than turn to God for answers and guidance they turn to a human leader, symbol, or need and insult their God. Make no mistake a big change needs to take place to bring order and peace to this world. The shadow of hell will be lifted. Please stop hating and focus your time and energy in nurturing and cleaning up this big mess. If more people join hands to create a better world that may just be a big enough change to divert disaster.

My high school students are currently studying the Holocasut and reading a book called The Hiding Place. To even suggest that an event like this should take place again is incredibly disrespectful to the millions of people involved during the 1940s.

So you want to be a totalitarian ethnic cleanser. It must be so much simpler to think when you only have to consider one narrow mindset and are able to lump the ills of this world on one scapegoat segment of society. I do not think my brain is wired that way.

Believers go to a better place when they die, a place I call home. There is only one Church, one religion, one truth. You may sit at a Mosque or a temple and find yourself in the true church or you may find yourself singing hymns in a protestant church knowing you are not in St. Augustine's city of God.
Good ideas do not usually contain Holocaust in their mission statements so yes, murdering fellow hominid sentients for any other reason than they have become flesh eating zombies is bad.

Why don't we all just admit that the major religions, when you get down to the essential basic values, are about the same. All the cultural stuff added on to the basic values is the problem.

Basic values - love, respect, honesty, etc. When people start to differentiate who, what, when, where, why, and how to live by those values, that's when cultural stuff gets in the way.

It most likely won't happen because of all the nations keeping eachother in check...unless everybody wanted to do it, it'd be really scary to seriously propose that to another nation haha.----and be a bad idea? from the perspective of killing people no, but for saving lives and making things make a little more sense, not bad at all.
