Very few side effects and it would end all arguments(not debates), and wars. Everyone would work together, etc. Would you take it? What if there was a law that everyone in the world had to take it? What's your opinion?

The thought of all 5 members of Queer Eye raiding their home and making their house "fabulous", or the thought of their kids becoming Harry Potter fans? Take your pick.

He is like a voice beyond any other. He is the power to move that voice as with a mouth that cannot be comprehended... the essence of G-d's soul. He is the sound, the words pouring out from that power by His will, the body of His intent. He is the "breath" or "air" upon which the words are carried, conveying His nature.
Without His "breath", even those that have ears that can hear would not be able to hear. Without His "voice" there would be no words for hearing. Without His "mouth", His presence of power, there would be no knowledge to know, because there would be nothing.

Yes, I'm using 'theory' loosely, dammit. The point is, church people have fervent emotions, they call it faith, and if that is better than a theory, how so?
I say the whole god thing is a theory at best, and my question is this: Would you please correct me if I'm wrong? Thanks.

I even ripped it to my hard drive (for evaluation purposes), still will not play, and the surface is perfect. You think God is blocking me (I told Jesus to 'bleep off' awhile ago)? Maybe the Debil? Zeus?

Why do you admire Mary as a Virgin when the scripture states Jesus had other siblings?

I'll lay out the verses.

"And he knew her not till she had brought forth her FIRSTBORN son: and he called his name JESUS." Matthew 1:25

"But other of the apostles saw I none, save James THE LORD'S BROTHER." Galatians 1:19

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and WITH HIS BRETHREN." Acts 1:13-14 (this verse names all of the Apostles and then adds his Brethren)

"Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his BRETHREN, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his SISTERS, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?" Matthew 13:55-56

Yes, there is. And spirits are waiting to help us, to give us strength and comfort. All you have to do is pray for their help. When we pray we deliberate a blue light that attract good spirits.

My religion is Spiritism.

My husband cheated on me and lied about it for 4 years. He confessed about two years ago. We are working the issue and going to counseling. But...it has taken a toll on my spirituality. I was such a strong Christian before this happened and now I'm angry and bitter. The "other woman" was someone from our church. She doesn't go there anymore, but I can't seem to sit in the pew on Sunday without terrible thoughts going through my head. I haven't had my devotions or daily prayer time in 2 years. I'm not mad at God, but I can't feel close to Him with so much bitterness inside. Please give me some advice.

It's not like we're the only religion with members ever known to make mistakes in our past. At least we move foward and try to better ourselves on a daily basis. If a member makes a mistake, why does everyone make it out like it's our whole religion that does or says certain things. We are humans, we make mistakes, the mistakes of men or women of our congregation shouldn't in any way reflect on our religion as a whole.

I became a Chritian last year. Before that, I didn't like my boss. Now, I feel much better about him, because nowadays I pay more attention to heavenly things, and less attention to worldly matters, such as office politics. I love my boss, sorry, I mean I try to love my boss.

and say they're happy about it, do you realize what you're saying? You can't possibly mean it. I'm talking about being tormented for ETERNITY! Why do you think you'll enjoy it in hell?

Key Facts About Eternity

(1) Everyone will exist eternally either in heaven or hell (Daniel 12:2,3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28; Revelation 20:14,15).

(2) Everyone has only one life in which to determine their destiny (Hebrews 9:27).

(3) Heaven or hell is determined by whether a person believes (puts their trust) in Christ alone to save them (John 3:16, 36, etc.).
Key Passages About Hell

(1) Hell was designed originally for Satan and his demons (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10).

(2) Hell will also punish the sin of those who reject Christ (Matthew 13:41,50; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).

(3) Hell is conscious torment.

When it is clear that Mary had other children?

The New Testament contains several references to Jesus's brothers and sisters, the most explicit of which is Matthew 13:55-56, in which the neighbors wonder where Jesus gets off with all this preaching: "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all this?"

Why is she still worshipped as a virgin(and at all for that matter).

I have alot of questions for catholics because i am really concerned about a friend. So if any Catholivs want to email me and clarifyt that please. And i will ask more q's?

Todah.

I am dating a man who is belongs to the Church Of Christ, and I am Mennonite. We have debated issue after issue after issue. I like discussing the Bible, but he won't except me for who I am is intent on getting me to see it his way. I've been told that the Church Of Christ thinks they are the only way and if you don't belong to their Church you are going to hell. I'm not trying to change him, so why should he try and change me. Any answers will help.
