Yes, there is. And spirits are waiting to help us, to give us strength and comfort. All you have to do is pray for their help. When we pray we deliberate a blue light that attract good spirits.

I would have said no for the first 20 years of my life. I was very agnostic. Then I had a near-death experience and went (temporarily, thank God) to Hell. So now, with evidence in my own experience, I can believe in an afterlife. But if that hadn't happened, I'd probably still not believe. I'm very skeptical by nature.

I think it is important for a lot of people to believe in life after death, and to have an idea of what this is. I don't know what happens after we die, and I don't believe we can know. I am comfortable with the mystery.

No. The only comfort I've ever known came from real flesh-and-blood people. And it's silly to believe that some immaterial part of you will survive your death.

I am Catholic and I truly believe that there is life after death. I believe in God, Mary, Jesus, and spirits. I believe that we go to heaven when we die (if were good) and that spirits come and help us. I feel that spirits even help us here on earth when we need help!

Now of course, you could say it's an invisible blue light, but if it's invisible, then it can't really be blue, can it?

The only one who can lead us through death is Christ Jesus, as He was the first to overcome death, and all who believe in Him, he will lead through the valley of death.
