Every side wants to prove it is right in any kind of debate. One of the ways they try to do so, is by proving the other side wrong. It is that simple.

Christians and muslims have a God that defines what is right and what is wrong. Those people with no God view everything as ones opinion. Being just an opinion, one should expect the person next to them to come to the opposite opinion. So when Christians and muslims have a set right and wrong, it is a foreign concept and therefore a cause of fear for those who believe people can't do something that is wrong.

Being intolerant of those with world views different from theirs, they pretend to be enlightened by "demonizing" those who claim there is a God. It isn't as if they can scientifically prove God does NOT exists ....but they conclude that their conclusions are more scientific.

They expect everyone to believe the universal truth which is that "universal truths don't exist." If they wanted to prove that universal truths did not exist then they could expect people to be equally divided in saying that the doctor who saves the masses is not any different from the mass murderer who brutally tortures before killing her victims.

People should realize that as the tide quickly erases the sandcastle in its way, so everything done on earth has no meaning, purpose or any lasting value. Everything is no more or less than chasing after the wind.
