I took my endowments out in the Logan Temple. I was married in the Bountiful Temple! Have a great time, the temple is a wonderful, beautiful place and I hope you find the peace there that I do!

I echo the words of the poster, 'Free-to-be-me.' Just ignore the negative replies because they do not know of what they speak. Some replies are irreverent unto themselves and they will have to answer for their words here as well. Ignore them too.
This Saturday I will be going again to the Baton Rouge Temple. I look forward to the visit in many ways.

I've been going through the temple for almost 26 years. I learn something to help me in my life every time that I go there. Our family is blessed every day by the temple covenants.
The peace and beauty there are almost beyond description. What a blessing the temple is!
Congratulations on getting ready to go!
BTW: Ignore anything that people who are not worthy to enter the temple will say. "By their fruits shall ye know them."

I have been in the visitor's center twice and I went inside to do baptism for the deaths 2 months ago, 2 weeks after my baptism.
I love this church too!!!!! I want to enter the temple someday :)

No i have never been there but i watched a video clip of them mormons men attacking people outside the temple. You can watch it at street preachers .com

I would get ready for the annoiting and washing naked session and the funny looking robe session and the eve and adam story and the new theology that you get to hear, the weird hand shakes, the garments you have to wear all the time, the funny green apron, the funny looking bakers hat, THE FACT THAT YOU DON'T NEED YOUR BIBLE THERE, ect, it won't be what you thoguht it would be. There is no love of God mentioned or how wonderful the union of your love is, or the happiness you will be togther, there is mention that you MUST SUBMIT TO YOUR HUBBY. Godd luck.
