The thought of all 5 members of Queer Eye raiding their home and making their house "fabulous", or the thought of their kids becoming Harry Potter fans? Take your pick.

Man, it's people like you who make the world a funny place to live in. Well, I admit that I have fear. But hell, fear is that precious natural instinct that keeps me alive! And as for death? Pfff, when someone comes up with the concept of an afterlife, it sounds like someone is DEFINITELY afraid of dying...

Neither one. That is a bit insulting. Just because we Christians have good moral values that we wish to instill upon our children does not mean we are devoid of common sense. I don't care who raids my house and makes it fabulous - whether gay or not, if someone can do a better job with my home than I have done, then more power to them, and I say "come on over". As for Harry Potter, I don't agree with the sorcery stuff, but I have a brain and am able to distinguish fantasy fiction from reality. I actually have watched the Harry Potter movies with my daughter and found them to be of very good quality, highly entertaining and full of good moral values. Yes, they deal with witchcraft, sorcery and evil, but they also have the overall message of good versus evil and show that good triumphs over evil, as it should.
No, what I am most afraid of is that my children will grow up believing that God is not real and will forfeit their chance at Heaven because society tends to be anti-God, anti-Christian and Christian values have been tossed by the wayside to make room for tolerance and freedom to behave any way anyone pleases with no thought for the long-term consequences. I am afraid that no amount of example will be able to compete with the pressures my kids are up against in today's society unless I can equip my kids with a strength of character to be able to discern the truth from the lies that are propagated by those who don't believe in God or in having a relationship with Jesus Christ.

The thought of the Queer Eye guys making my house fabulous is sort of exciting! I really need a makeover lol
My oldest has seen Harry Potter and was unimpressed ... she's 5 and already knows all about movie cinema tricks.

I thought it was going to be something bad! I like Harry Potter. And I have never watched Queer Eye, but I'll bet they could make it better than I could.

I am not sure what the Queer Eye is...You know, we shouldn't be afraid of anything because God is on our side. That doesn't mean we aren't.

I don't know any Christians. I you're talking about church people, you may have no idea what all they are afraid of, and the two things you mentioned don't even reach the big list.

A christian has no reason to fear anything
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
