For those of you who say it is the Holy Spirit who will come after Jesus: I asked this Question in another question and no one answered me so I will ask it again.

Luke 1:15 For he shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mothers womb.

Luke 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elizabeth heard the salutationof Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Luke 1:67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost...

Luke 2:25-26 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just a devout, waitinf for the consolation of Isreal: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen Jesus Christ.

All of these scriptures were written many years before Jesus said this:

John 15:26-27 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning

Why would God have sent someone who obviously was already here?

rather on Saturday like the Jewish Christians did in the bible? Didn't they go to the temple on Saturday? Why was the 'sabbath' changed? It can't be just because Jesus rose on Sunday. Is Sunday the 'new Sabbath'?

Any websites would be helpful. Thank you.

When you say Jesus is God.. and just the spellings are different here, but what does it mean then that Jesus is the -Son- of God?
As Jesus is so reverent and a higher being.. why not God is son of Jesus?
Which God is this one?
Why God is given a higher status then him?

Kindly educate.

Freewill is necessary for true love, which cannot be forced or created or it would not be true love. Each entity has control of their intellect the soul to love, hate, desire, contemplate, etc. This freedom of conscious awareness would be disastrous without consequences, hence the law and judgment. Otherwise, who knows how far wickedness develops? In like manner, wickedness and righteousness cannot be forced or created but each entity has conscious freedom, freewill to decide.

For the mystery of iniquity does already work in Satan’s lies and deception. Most people do not accept the love of the truth to avoid discipline and possibly to perish. For this cause, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. That they all might be punished who believed not the truth, yet not perish.

In comes the Millennium or thousand-year reign of Christ. We no longer reside in flesh bodies and Satan is bound. It is a time of teaching and discipline for they who loved not the truth. God had sent them strong delusion so they would not perish. At the end of the Millennium is the release of Satan to deceive again. Following is judgement or great white throne. For Satan and many, there is the lake of fire, in other words, the second death or non-existence?

God is long suffering, fair, righteous, and loving, desiring that none of His children perish, but come to repentance. Through stupendous methods, God has tried to save His children from the lake of fire. Yet, many will chose eternal death over eternal life.

Why do many choose non-existence?

The bible shows that Jesus is not the “Comforter”, “Paraclete” or “Praised One” mentioned in earlier verses.

Jesus is the Jewish Messiah but he was not the "Prophet like unto Moses" who was to come from the "brethren of the Jews".

Moses replied : "And the Lord said onto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken, I will raise them up a Prophet from among ‘their brethren’, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

The Bible refers to the Ismaelites (Arabs) as the Brethren of the Israelites (e.g. Gen. 16:12 & Gen. 25:18).

In this verse God specifically says from “their brethren” meaning that this a significant change to the usual lineage of the Prophets. The Final Prophet would com from the “brethren” of the Israelites which means the Ishmaelites in Arabia. This is why many Jewish tribes moved to Arabia to await the Final Prophet. The Quran were verses literally put in the mouth of the Prophet in the new tongue (Arabic) which was then memorized and repeatedly recited by all the companions.

-------------
Jesus said someone will be sent after him -- he will leave so the Final Prophet or “Comforter” can come.

And I will pray to the Lord, and he shall give you another [Prophet/Comforter/Spirit of Truth], that [his example] may abide with you for ever. (John 14:16-17)

The Sunnah (example of the Prophet) is kept alive by every Muslim copying the life of the Prophet Mohammed.
---------------------
"But the Comforter[Prophet/Comforter/Spirit of Truth], whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your “remembrance”, whatsoever I have said unto you."—John 14:26.

The true message of Jesus, Moses and the Last Prophet is kept alive forever through the memorization and daily recitation of the Quran.
-------------------------
This Final Prophet will come as Isaiah predicted ………. From the land of Kedar (Arabia) and from the branch of Jesse (Ishmael)

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out his roots. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord.”--- Isaiah 11:1-2

According to Encyclopedia Biblica, however, we read: “Jesse is contracted from Ishmael”. (Cheyene , Encyclopedia Biblica under “names”)
--------------------
Isaiah tells of the Prophecies of a “Servant of God” who will come from the land of Kedar with a divine Law and he will be victorious over his enemies in battles.

He will bring a new law and message in a new tongue(language) and the villages of Kedar will sing the praises from the mountain tops.....

“Sing unto the Lord a new song , and his praise from the end of the earth…” (V.10)

“another tongue” (Isaiah 28:11)

Let the desert and its towns lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the tops of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands. --- (Isaiah 42:11).

Ishmael dwelt in the wilderness of “Paran”(Gen.21:21) He beget twelve sons one of whom was named “Kedar”. (Gen.25:13)
------------------
******** The reason Muslims use the bible to prove several points is because it is mentioned in the Quran that Allah sent down glad tidings of the Last Prophet to come in the Torah and Injeel (bible)

007.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the Torah and the Injeel (Gospel);- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." (QURAN)

Is there an argument for God in the classroom, can we really seperate people's beliefs from their education system? Surely many beliefs stem from spirituality itself?

Or are we imposing beliefs on young people by teaching God in the classroom?

What do you think?

I'm genuinely curious: Are people really that programable, or are such huge mental blinkers present at birth?

For the sheer overwhelming information of current mainstream scientific understandings, all of which interlock and compliment each other, and in a highly critical, competative and self correcting environment, then to be a biblical literalist in this day and age surely must require no small measure of denial and small mindedness.

Does modern mainstream science scare them, or is it the promise of an afterlife and a high biological pedistal that whets a very fearful and self serving, if narrow minded appetite?

The holier than thou headswell and believing to have all the answers at arms reach must play a role here too, but at what cost to nature's gift of a questioning mind?

There's alot of hype in the last couple years about Muslims bragging proudly that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

Personally, I have no reason to believe it isn't, and could't care much less if it wasn't.

The problem is the enourmous disagreements between ranges in the numbers I've seen. The numbers are dramatically different from one source to the next. One says 1.1 billion, another says 1.6 billion, and another says "almost 2 billion". I'm sure most Muslims will support the highest number. (regardless of it's accuracy)
There doesn't seem to be any "official" number when it comes to how many Muslims there are. I do remember MANY Muslims spamming the forums with "Islam has doubled in the USA in the last generation" so I looked it up. There was a 235% increase in the number of Muslims in USA over a 50 year period. Muslims went from about 0.2% of the US population to about 0.5% today. WOW! 50 years ago 2 of 1000 were Muslim, now it's 5 of 1000!

Who counts?
