Muslim's claim that their growth rate is 235 percent and 47 percent for Christianity. This statistic came from the Readers Digest Almanac and Yearbook 1983, and represents 235 percent increase over 50 years. Muslims always leave off the 50 year fact to make it appear they are going 235% every year. A simple review of the readers Digest study shows that the growth rate of Islam vs. Christianity is directly linked to the birth rate in Third World countries where Islam dominates and not actual conversions to each religion. Christianity has always been larger than Islam. These statistics from Readers Digest are over 20 years old. Further, we do not consider readers digest to be an authority on such matters. Why will Muslims not quote real authoritative statistics from certified research groups who show Islam is not the fastest growing religion in 3/4’s of the worlds countries.
Muslims
1,188,242,789
conversions 865,558
1 conversion each 1,372 muslim
Christians
1,999,563,838
conversions 2,501,396
1 conversion each 799 christian
United Nations official stadistics... for 2000
Islam is only in 204 of the worlds 238 countries. Christianity, on the other hand is in all 238 countries of the world. Christianity has a 100% penetration rate world wide
Islam is based in amazing lies the same as their publicity than further to add new belivers alienate everybody else.

I don't know really. I was into the hype of the fastest growing religion and all that stuff after I first became Muslim, mostly because I found it an interesting concept and to think that the religion that I belonged to was the fastest growing was pretty cool in my eyes. But the honest truth is that it's nearly impossible to prove how many Muslims there are in the world because to do so you would have to literally count each and every one of them, and people just don't have the time for that, lol! So these days people rely on observations and guesstimates, for all religions really. They assume the numbers of people in a certain region, different numbers in other regions, maybe even assume by percentages than numbers, then total them all up. That's why there are different ranges. If they really figured in by how many attended the mosque, then count that many don't attend the mosques because maybe they have to work, are in the hospital or disabled, and the women who aren't obligated to attend Friday prayers, then people who may be on vacation, then to figure the numbers in the rest of the world, counting those who are in remote areas, war torn areas, it's a huge mess! I think they just guesstimate then agree on a number that sounds good, lol. I think this is what they do for all religions to be honest with you.

lol I agree with you. As for how do you count the number of muslims, they are probably using data from the united states census or other studies. Either way, I don't know why this would be any sort of worthy peice of information to hold up in the face of non-muslims, as it does not really prove anything. All I really care about is that Islam is the most logical and clean way of life, thus everyone else is missing out. Call me close-minded but I'm willing to discuss this with anyone.

I hate chain emails, yet there is a few know-how contained in the above. It recognizes that Islam isn't itself the concern, yet that Muslims do have a accountability to oppose the extremists, like Germans in Nazi Germany had a accountability to chat up against what replaced into occurring then and there. the fact of the situation is that many Muslims have certainly spoken up against terrorism, besides the indisputable fact that it is likewise actual that there have been Germans who spoke up against the Nazis. human beings who concern for their lives, or maybe for their careers, in the event that they talk up may be forgiven, yet to forgive somebody does not inevitably advise that they did no longer something incorrect. maximum folk (myself coated) have been responsible of a few thing of this nature at some point. in case you observed a fist combat and did no longer something to end it, case in point, you engaged in a matching act of negligence. in line with risk you weren't bodily in a position to end it straight away, yet while you're starting to be called the police and did no longer, then you definitely have been negligent.

That's an exaggerated estimate of the number of people who live under the iron hand of Muslim domination. Muslims vastly exaggerate the growth of Islam to make it seem as if people are choosing it of their own free will, when in fact the only way Islam can grow in today's well-informed world is by violence and subversion.

The governments of countries that are ruled by Muslims. It is the same as being Catholic in Italy. You do not decide you are Catholic, you are told you are Catholic from your birth.
It is nothing but a population census.

Anyone born in a predominantly muslim country is automatically counted. There are many non-religious muslims, but they are still counted as muslims, since their opinion is not held in high regard.
