their beliefs to people who arent interested the way christians do. ???? (and easy christians im not slagging you all off just stating a fact) would the world be funnier? wierder? or scary as all h***? or would we all just become jaded and bored..like "sure buddy save my soul.. whatever just get me fries with that will ya"??

In the New Testament it doesn't mention their function to the church anymore?

Images, drawings, sketches and sculptures could be a very dangerous idolatrous practice when a person comes to distort certain elements to attract, delude his or her audience....especially in media, cinema or galleries...

But if God still ordains certain persons to be his workman in the arts and crafts area....Does it mean artists are still children of God after all? Or the New Testament has no evidence or mention of them "artisans caled by God" anymore because there is no more Temple as in the O.T. era?

If the Catholic church, "by her own inherent God given power and authority" gave the world the Bible, why did she not get it right the first time? Why did the Roman Catholic church wait until 1546 AD in the Council of Trent, to officially add the Apocrypha to the Canon?

Why did God fail to provide an inspired and infallible list of Old Testament books to Israel? Why would God suddenly provide such a list only after Israel was destroyed in 70 AD?

If the Roman Catholic church gave the world the Bible, being infallible, then why did Rome reject or question the inspiration of James and Hebrews , then later accept it?
Conversely, Rome accepted as scripture books that were later rejected. If the Catholic church really is illuminated by the Holy Spirit so that men can trust her as "God's organization", why was she so wrong about something so simple? Should not the "Holy See" have known?

That's right. TKD540 is writing a bible, very much like the current one you believe in. TKD540 will become famous in a thousand years because people will think he is a real diety. Only difference is TKD540 is going to insert a "works cited" section and will copyright his bible. TKD540 will be rich AND famous. Begin your prayers today!
Do not steal my idea, please. I know there are no patent protections for this idea, considering that I am already stealing it from the person who wrote the current bible.

As an oldster, I have my own opinion on this but I would like to know what you folks under 30 think. I received a e mail from a friend that talked about the differences between 1956 and 2006. High school guys used to carry rifles on a gun rack in their pickup...today, they would be arrested and expelled. Girls who got pg were sent away..today they are given abortions and sent back to school.
A father spanked a child then and the kid learned to behave properly...today, the Dad is charged with child abuse and sent to jail. Obviously, our laws have changed but what do you think is the base cause of the differences?
