and did people in ancient civilizations dance to honor to gods? do some sects of christianity, judaism or islam prohibit dancing because of those practices.

It feels good ! I used to love to dance.( I am in a wheel chair and can't dance anymore.) I taught my son's dogs to dance with grandma. It had to be old time rock'n'roll music none other. The dogs loved it!

Is a scantly clad Women with moves that are in Question as to Msg. being sent.I choose not to do that. I believe this type of dancing would interfere with my Communion with God;
I have to Commune with God or I would Die.

People like to worship God with all of their being. I have seen liturgical dancing. It was forbidden in early Christianity because prostitutes use to do it in the pagan temples. The Church wanted people to see the actions around the altar in a different way, so it was forbidden for a long time.

but Islamic Cultures includes much dancing, but
one rule in Islam about anything is moderation.
Even dancing, music, anything. Living a balanced life is the key.

I think it connects us to the Earth and it's energy. When we dance with others we really feel that connection even if we don't recognize it. It's really cool and I love it. I love if there are some good drums too.
