I just wanted to clear the air and apologize for those who shove religion down your throat. I am a born again christian with strong faith. I would never judge or defame you but telling you how "wrong" you are. Too many theists dont see that that only solidifies your stance. I wish you all good luck in this life and any other because the truth of the matter is, none of us know. And the few that do know cant communicate it to us. Live life and be happy, and dont fall into the bull*hit that theist haters bring (yes a christian cursed on cpu, deal with it, im not going to hell for it). Honestly, think about it. If Adam and Eve were booted out of the garden, what food did they have to survive on outside? God didn't boot the rest of the animals, so maybe there was already something living there.
Maybe "out there", outside the Garden, is where God was screwing around with other creatures, seeing what might work best in harmony with mankind.
I don't think the Bible stated how long Adam and Eve lived in the Garden before their expulsion, so couldn't both have existed? Please, no close-minded answers like "You're stupid" or "Only the Bible is right", unless you back it up with some sort of valid argument

I had a strange dream on Easter morning. I was invited to a funeral of a man I didn't know personally but who was believed to be very good and well liked by my closests friends.

When I got to the funeral I discovered I wasn't dressed appropriately and everyone was quite angry with me for that reason.

Then I saw that one of the mourners was my spiritual mentor who died of leukemia in 1992. At first I thought it was his brother, who looks a lot like him, but as I got closer I saw it was really him. He smiled at me and told me not to worry about how I was dressed or the irritation of the other mourners. Then he disappeared into the crowd.

I'm an atheist and this was a very distrurbing dream for me because the resonance with Easter was so marked.

Kinda shook me up. What do you think?

My sister decided to mess around with 1.800.NEED.HIM yesterday. The man on the other end of the phone helped her find Jesus. He told her that now she will not be going to hell with the raging homosexuals and child molesters.
Isn't it wrong of people to judge like that? I thought God was the only judge.

I hav 2 do this essay in 4 16 th April. I'm kind if stuck coz I'm not sure wt 2 put in. It says we hav 2 do an arguement essay so hav like a fixed view point over whether or not meditation has a purpose in our lives today. I'm just asking about global warming cuz something struck my interest this morning. Someone asked what my views were so I'll share.I believe global warming is happening and I don't know for sure what's causing it, but I do think that if believing that we're causing it will make us take steps to make the world better for future generations instead of worse I will go along with that.
I am pretty liberal on most issues but very conservative on some. I'm just trying to see what other people's views are. So why do some people feel the need to be constantly outraged by everything?

recently, a very arrogant and intellectually tiny member here, posted that blacks were less intelligent than whites, that studies showed a distinct connection between race and iq.
while studies are valuable and can indicate quite a lot.often they are only viewed with bias and without thought or understanding of cultural nuance.
i ask this question because i would like to suggest that it is in bad form to ask such questions, it is in bad form to search out and suggest weakness in others. i would suggest one exception is needed to break a theory and there are several that i can think of.
that being said, i have "statistics" that "prove" christians in particular are less intelligent than less religious and even athiest folks. i think it is interesting to see how those that were so willing to suggest "it's all in the numbers" when it came to black people, will deal with this piece od information.

I sit in the stands like a spectator, watching all the bashing between the two. Sometimes I see a really great debate going on and other times I see,well just crap..
I honestly believe that either one will never change the minds of the other until undeniable proof of one side is presented. The discussion is one that will always be. If you ever want to be taken serious,know the difference between Cussing and Discussing.

For most if not all the questions I have asked or have read questioning the validity of the existence of God on yahoo Atheists seem to balloon their hatred and then pop on cue. Note, I am not generalizing, but based on what i have seen, most people who question God and by extension their existence are told (even with profanities) that they are idiots and wasting their time. Often the logic or the solution to this is placing confidence in theories, someday spacecrafts that will take us to the other planets, or to live and simply die with our purposeless lives. If all Atheists can dabble in their own fantasies why beat down someone who wishes to freely believe in their fantasies(huh?). What are u ppl really angry at? Our freedom to worship? Are we all illogical folk by placing confidence in religion and not in your accepted truth? Answer...I wait so tentatively.

Christianity teaches sins are fogiven by GOD if you ask Jesus into your heart proclaim him to be the Son of the 1 true Living God and ask for forgiveness...

In Judiasm and Islam they also atone for thier sins on some of the high holidays to God for forgiveness

If a person does not believe in GOD at all, and that person sins without Jesus or atonement to GOD, according to what a sin is biblically what does Judaism and ISLAM teach about what happens to a individual that rejects GOD and does not ever ask for forgiveness whe he sins, upon his death?

Christian teaching says a person will not be saved and will be eternally seperated from GOD because Jesus said nobody comes to the Father but by me....

If People like Saddam, Hitler Stalin asked for forgiveness or Jesus into there heart would all 3 Faiths say GOD had forgiven them and they might go to Heaven?

I was targeted by witchcraft and never hugged the person but I will keep reading my bible and being more careful of people when they are supposed to pray for you and not put you in a spiritual relationship involving witchcraft YES it sounds crazy but this is a real situation I believe on JESUS and the bible can help thanks everyone!!!
