I just wanted to clear the air and apologize for those who shove religion down your throat. I am a born again christian with strong faith. I would never judge or defame you but telling you how "wrong" you are. Too many theists dont see that that only solidifies your stance. I wish you all good luck in this life and any other because the truth of the matter is, none of us know. And the few that do know cant communicate it to us. Live life and be happy, and dont fall into the bull*hit that theist haters bring (yes a christian cursed on cpu, deal with it, im not going to hell for it). I love you all equal and i appreciate the time and effort MOST of you put into answering my questions honestly. For those of you who need a question, um...
Where are you right now typing this??
Im at work...
But again thanx to everyone, atheist and theist, who dont fall into the bonehead traps the idiots around here lay.

For those christians who want to stab at me for not being a missinoary to my religion, i know where to push and where to back off. Do you?
And to those who want to stab at my "we are not sure comment" to show my faith. My faith in God is strong in that it will not be swayed by the likes of puns and wordplay. Faith in god says that we will have heaven on earth. Does anyone know what that is?? maybe we have to find the heaven in yourselves first, because one of the main principals of christianity is that God will not loose more to you if you dont know what to do with what you have (christians refer to the talon parable). We dont know what heaven will be like. But we have FAITH (key word) that it will come. Faith once again surpasses the natural and dwells in the supernatural. Thats why you CANT use logic to explain it. Those who do end up getting eaten alive by strong willed atheists who know there stuff. THAT is the example of weak faith. Too many christians have not tapped into that

You are one of the more intelligent religious people here. Just because you see all this crap on YA does NOT mean it is the standard of America. It seems only the most extreme end up here ranting and raving.
You are more than welcome to your beliefs in my book, whether or not I agree with them. And I have my own that I rarely discuss with anyone. I admire your ability to separate "church" from "church." Too many others cannot do this. I have no idea why, once some who need religion, and have found some kind of peace with their beliefs, suddenly feel as if they have to go on a campaign...sort of like a newly quit smoker, I suppose. Good luck

Thanks for posting this . . . I had been thinking along the same lines. I too am a Christian but prefer to have sensible conversations about people's views. We could all learn something from each other if we did not have to be right all the time.
As a Christian one thing I do not want to be is a hypocrite. . .I have seen too much ugliness on this forum that is supposed to be reaching out as a Christian. . .what a way to turn people off.
I am who I am, I will tell you who I am and hopefully you will see it in the way I choose to correspond and I respect each one of you for who you are even if we disagree.

Nicely put and I think everyone can appreciate what you just said. I agree wholeheartedly when you said 'none of us know'. That's the reason why I refuse to harass people about their faith. I don't know the answer, so it's not my place to tell anyone else that they are 'wrong'.
I'm at home, waiting to meet up with someone at 4:30pm to move some boxes. I'm drinking coffee and thinking about taking a shower...

Amen to that (and to copy another answer). I'm a Christian and think you have the right thoughts.
As a Christian, it's not my job to judge a person. I'm not God and I don't walk a mile in your moccasins.
I'm about to get ready for work and am sitting at home.

What a lovely thing to write. While I don't think it's your job to apologize for the actions of others, I have to admit I hold their smugness and hypocrasy against all Christians to some extent. So, I too will try to be more tolerant and I wish you well in your spiritual journey.

i'm nonetheless attempting to determine out what the "gay agenda" is. for sure the in simple terms ones with an agenda are the human beings who're attempting to make it appear like we've some massive agenda when we do not. except per chance tolerance.

Just be the best theist you can be. If it doesn't work out for you, you are free to re-evaluate your position, for it only serves you to do so. Actually it serves me best in the little picture and worst in the big picture, that you remain theist. Won't tell you why, but you can figure it out I'm sure.

I have read all the answers. Everyone ( Religious & Aetheist ) is kind enough to respect other views. Which is good. But I hope everyone is couragious enough to re-evaluate their own views. I think that being couragious is more difficult than being kind.
