Luke 12:51
Jesus... Tree hugger? Think again!?

"Do you think I came to bring peace on eart? NO, but DIVISION"

Jesus, being God, was smart enough to know that there will be no peace on earth until He ushers it in! He wants to know who is on His side, whose got His back, and who is going to fight evil face to face and call it what it is!

I know not everyone, but a vast majority believes he was a peace lovin', tree huggin, hippy spreading nothing but hippy values.

I love the idea of peace as much as the next guy, but it hasn't been here for at least 6 or 7000 yrs. Why would it change now.
It won't until He ushers in His kingdom!

god has been speaking to me lately, he warned me of danger yesturday.

i was walking home at night, my usual way home, nothing was out of the ordinary, then as i crossed the road there was a voice in my head, it said 'be careful child, you are in danger'. that was all, it didnt scare me at all, it seemed completely natural and almost expected.

I slowed down my pace and looked around me, i noticed a guy following me on the other side of the road, he was trying to hide in the front yards of some houses, i heard the voice again, 'there'

i was near a service station so i went in and caught a taxi home.

i believe god has a purpose for me, he is keeping me safe, who knows what could have happened if he hadnt alerted me. god is great, youv got to believe

Luke 12:51

Jesus from His walking on this earth to now is finding out whose "got His back". Who is willing to enlist in His army. Who wants to stand up against evil, look it in the face, and fight against it.

Why do a big majority think he was a tree huggin' wussy!

This question has bothered me as a Christian for a while. We believe that God gave us the sex drive. It is a biological imperative for the continuing of the human race. If God gave it to us, then it can't be a sin. The Bible clearly states that lust is a sin. So, what is the difference? Some have told me that the sex drive becomes lust when sexual desires are felt before marriage. This is preposterous to me. The idea that the biological drive that kicks in when we're 12 can't be active until we're married is ignorant. I'm not saying that we're animals and monogamy and abstinence before marriage are unrealistic. I'm saying that the idea that we can "turn off" one of our basic human needs until we sign a marriage license is unrealistic. So if lust is wrong, where is the line between sex drive and sin?

I've tried, but I'm yet to get a definitive ruling on this one. I looked in "Eat Yourself Godless" but it didn't really help.

So tell me: IS baby considered meat, or are we still allowed to eat them?

Gospel of mathew ch.12 , V 38-40; is aprophecy from the mouth of jesus[ pbuh]when the people asked jesus for a sign
jesus replied you evil and adultrous nation no sign shall you get but the sign of jonah, as Jonah was in the belly of the whale
for three days and three nights so the son of man will be in the
belly of the earth for three days and three nights.'

We conclude from the sign of jonah that prophet Jonah was
thrown abroad a raging storm, was swallowed by a fish, who
took him around the ocean for three days and three nights, he
prayed to god from within the belly of the fish and finally he
was vomited ashore. If Jonah had died it was no big deal but
having lived through this odeal is a Miracle does this not imply
that jesus did not die as expected but lived throufh his odeal.?

Friday late night jesus was buried, he was in the tomb the whole of saturday , sunday early morning the tomb is empty?
1night , iday , 1 night?Prophesy unfulfilled?

The Catholic faith is actually more biblical than any other form of Christianity.

This should not be surprising since the New Testament is a Catholic book put to together by the authority of the Catholic Church.

Here is proof that Catholic doctrine is more biblical than any other form of Christianity:

I'm not saying to cause division. I'm saying this BECAUSE there is so much division as a result of the unbiblical Protestant tradition of "Sola Scriptura" or in English, "Bible Alone".

The Bible can't be its own authority because it has to have an interpreter. If there is not a supreme authority to interpret the Bible, then people will be led in every direction by their own private interpretations. Private interpretation of scripture divorced from the authority of the Church is actually condemned by the Bible itself.

We wouldn't think of questioning the Bible, so it seems the only conlusion is that the other cultures, notably the Egyptians, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Phoenicians, the Chinese, etc., were not paying attention.
Question: can I get some info on that?

Or maybe when they were doing their obseravations and writing stuff down, they said "This is too weird, we better just pretend it didn't happen."

But the Hebrew folk wrote it down, cause Joshua said 'Write it down! I stopped the sun! Write it and proclaim it! Put it in the Bible that I stopped the sun."
