Admittedly much more needs to be done. But the Catholic Church is trying:

Through Don Bosco Ashalayam, an NGO run by Salesian priests, UNHCR funds computer training, helps find employment, and assures (via a topping-off mechanism) that working refugees earn at least the minimum wage of 3,166 rupees ($2.25) per day.

The Executive Director of Don Bosco Ashalayam is also ready to implement a project of a community center for Chin and other refugees in Delhi, who are without a common gathering place.

With love in Christ.

I'm sure the churches are doing something - why don't you contact them and ask them?
