God's purpose for man was "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it..." -Genesis 1:28
God also the power to stop procreation so there would be no problem of overcrowding. It will be really different there, maybe people wouldnt need sex that much as they do now. ;-) I mean, different environment, different emotions, different needs.

What will prevent overcrowding???
Obviously having fewer children... not necessarily less sex.
The catholic religion (for example) FORBIDS birth control, so overpopulation is a given with the number of catholics in the world. Over population will cause the end of Earth as we know it long before any human lives to eternity.

There is no sex in the eternal state. No, it won't be crowded.
The joy in heaven won't even compare to the best sex on earth
between a husband and wife.
There will be babies born in the 1,000 year reign of Christ on
the earth. But Christians will have their new glorified bodies.

We have to be able to mobilize large amounts of people either onto space stations or other planets. I HIGHLY doubt anything will live for an eternity. Chances are if we reach such a critical mass there will be laws that govern procreation.

nature is gaining ground in the fight of what humans did... the greedy and arrogant. the stupid.. there is no life after death ever... and there shall be no eternal life.... the natural life cycle of all will take over.... humans are born babies... then they are children then adult and then die.... learn to accept and enjoy life while it is here... don't wait to be dead for peace... it's what we should all be working on now here and today... those waiting for an eternal life... whether in the physical or the spiritual will be called fools...

No one knows what will happen when we reach that point. It's not too far off either with advances in medicine and knowledge.
Sex came before procreation so they'll always be sex.
