Why Christians, and Western people / culture in general look for answer and solution externally? Where Eastern Culture and Buddhism PHILOSOPHY teaches us to seek happiness, and answers internally? It make more sense to me to seek answers within, than to blame on some kind of external being or things to feel alright.

Eggs (Easter). Eggs were symbolical from an early time. If so, should they learn it ONLY from LDS Church sources?

Or should they learn it ONLY from Anti-Mormon sources?

Should they learn it ONLY from impartial 3rd-party sources?

Or would they probably have the best chance of learning the truth by comparing the three equally?

I am sick of it. Why fear dialog with atheists? I don't. They have not shaken my faith at all. In fact i find that we often have things in common. Is it "evangelism" to make good hearted intelligent people hate to hear the name of Christ? How can you justify this? People who delete acounts stink. People who report posts for ideology and not for content violations are spineless worms with no ethics.

Why is it that only 2 people are involved in a relationship? I hear too much bs like 'you're the only 1 I love', but aren't we supposed to love everybody unconditionally? I mean you should love your spouse/lover as much as you do a homeless person out there. And why I never see anybody getting involved with the impaired or diseased ones (eg Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, AIDS)? To love somebody you only sacrifice and expect no return. You don't get involved with Down syndrome just because you gotta give much more than you get, and it's possible you will never get a thing even if you spend all your life to love them. Love is no possession right?

It feels so phoney to start a relationship of 2 we're supposed to start a relationship with everybody on earth and love them all the same without reservation unconditionally, like what Jesus does and teaches us to do.

But even Christians blend in the earthly world and never really love others? Will you ever awaken and begin to imitate Christ?

when Roman Catholic church ruled Europe for years................
It was the most corrupt church ever.....................
They sold indulges for money
They sold indulges for past and future crimes
They taught them self as the GOD
They are responsible for million of people dying in France, and other European countries.
They probably caused the Crusades ( don't have much info on that)
They even today are news about some bad stuff ( you know what I am talking about)

Just because SOMe 5% Muslim radicals chose to not listen to Quran or do againt it you can't just blame the whole clergy on them......... ( we don't have one, every independent church has its own clergy)

If you say your religion is the best and the only true way, is it because...
1. You have come to understand other religions so much that you're an expert to each of these other religions, thus making you wise and authoritative enough to determine that your religion is, in the end, the only true one, or
2. You only know your own religion and much less about others, thus making the statement that your religion is the only true path to protect your self-identity out of inferiority complex?

In the book of Luke, we are told that people who divorce and remarry are adulterers...

Why is everyone pointing at this scripture as it relates to gays..but not to divorced/remarried people...

Again, if the divorced do not return to their original spouse,they continue to live in sin...and by 1 Corinthians 6:9, will not inherit the kingdom of God too.

You fundies are hypocrites..you pick on gays because we are few in numbers...but, try to justify the divorced...you can't have it both ways...

If divorced people who remarry do not return to their original spouse...they are destined to hell according to this scripture...plain and simple...if it applies to me being gay..it applies to all.
