I am sick of it. Why fear dialog with atheists? I don't. They have not shaken my faith at all. In fact i find that we often have things in common. Is it "evangelism" to make good hearted intelligent people hate to hear the name of Christ? How can you justify this? People who delete acounts stink. People who report posts for ideology and not for content violations are spineless worms with no ethics.

I would guess that if your faith is weak and based on ignorance opposing viewpoints would be sheer terror and thus they lash out with flaming and lame reporting. When people are secure in their faith they enter a dialog.

Nazis told Jews they were lower than dirt. They made them wear yellow stars and made it illegal for them to talk to anybody but "their own kind." They took away Jewish possessions, burned holy objects. They forced the Jews into ghettos where there were often five families in a one-family house. Then they "liquidated" the ghettos. They showed up in the middle of the night shouting in German and hitting with guns the people who didn't move fast enough, pushing them into cattle cars for a concentration camp. Then they either gassed the Jews, or, shaved them, starved them, beat them, worked them beyond human endurance, and THEN killed them. Alot of my family was murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust. It's not funny. It's not a light issue. Please don't treat it as such.

Do some Chr*stians act like intolerant as*ses? Yes. Are what they do (making fun of and belittling atheists on yahoo answers) equivalent to what Nazis did? No. Downplay what the Nazis did, and it might happen again.

Well I have always had the impression that Germany under Hitler was a Christian Nation !!

As was Italy under Mussolini !!

If I am not in the wrong, then where is the question of 'acting' as Nazis or Fascists.

Do you trully think that you have a grip on what an actual Nazi
was like? You have no idea, whatsoever. But most people are mean spirited by nature, but really not anything close to the Nazi way of thinking.

Comparing Christians to Nazi's? Since when have Christians killed millions of innocent Jews?

If you're going to make a statement, at least make sure you can relate it to something that will not get scrutiny. Like above.

By the way, I am glad to talk to atheists. If you want to stoop so low as to comparing Christians to Nazi's, then yes, I do believe you should get a violation.

Edit:

I love the quote above:

"Why do some Christians act like Nazi's?

later on in his post:

"People who report posts for ideology and not for content violations are spineless worms"

IRONY!

Edit: If you are a Christian, why are you referring to other Christians as Nazi's? If so, then you are wasting your time as a Christian.
