He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (Isaiah 2:4)

If you are going to list all the ways Jesus could not have been the Messiah based on Scripture you will be doing a lot of typing and the Christian audience you are writing to is wearing blinders

You don't understand the scriptures. What you are referring to will happen at the second coming of the Messiah. That has not happened yet. His first coming, in the Meridian of time, was to proclaim the gospel and fulfill the prophecies of the Mosaic Law in the Old Testament. There was to be a falling away first before the restitution of all things. That restitution began with the reformists printing the Bible into the common language of the people so that they could begin to learn and think on their own about what God had taught throughout the ages. The Restoration then began with Joseph Smith asking God which of all the churches was right. He was told that they all were wrong, that they taught partial truths but did not have the power and authority. From subsequent revelations, Joseph translated the Book of Mormon as a second testimony of Jesus. Further revelations were given restoring the priesthood and organizing The Church of Jesus Christ again on the earth. When the wheat and tares are then grown fully ripe, meaning the righteous and the wicked coming to maturity, then will the separation take place and Christ will be able to come again. There are many things that yet need to take place before then.
Study, pray and be faithful and then wait upon the Lord.

So, let me get this right... you are saying that Jesus did not usher in an era of peace... he did not teach peace and love to his disciples and as apart of the new covenant? Are you saying that He did not teach that if your neighbor strikes you to turn the other cheek?

Many peoples will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths."
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the LORD from Jerusalem....

Are you saying that he did not do this?

4 He will judge between the nations
and will settle disputes for many peoples...

Read Revelation... for more info about this.

They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.

When Jesus comes back war will certainly cease. The new testament teaches this also.

5 Come, O house of Jacob,
let us walk in the light of the LORD.

This is talking about the Kingdom of God.

Everything you're looking for is in the new testament... read it!

Jesus is the Messiah. He fulfilled over 100 prophecies when he came the first time. Jesus will usher in His reign of peace on earth when He returns. Then He will set up His kingdom and reign for 1000 years from Jerusalem. You are on the right track but need to study all of the prophecies including Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation.

It was Caesar that ushered in the great era of peace and security. It was called Democracy. Greatest thing since sliced showbread. No one could speak against it.
This great era was going to last for a long time so Jesus counseled us how to live within it. - Be good to your neighboor. Be peacable. Don't get involved in politics (My people are in the world, but not part of the world( this includes organized religion. People will not learn religion/war, anymore. Should Jesus wipe a grown mans @ss all his life, or can they do that for themselves when they grow up? You know, a Mother wipes the kids @ss for a short time, then you get potty trained, and your on the road to doing for yourself.
Yet Jesus is supposed to wipe grown mens slobber up, and do it till they die because they are helpless blobs of flesh.
What is wrong with this picture?

Jesus came- Died on the cross, establishing His Kingdom on earth.
Jesus will come again- to claim His Kingdom on earth.
Isaiah 2:4 is talking about the Return of Jesus to earth a second time.

Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus teachings would lead to peace but man for the most part has chosen not to accept Him and His teachings. God gave us all free will. We can choose to be peaceful or warlike. God has allowed man to be in charge, and look what a miserable job man has done. Man will one day have to answer to God for his actions.

Peace I giveth to you, NOT AS THE WORLD GIVETH PEACE. that is a quote from what Jesus said in the Bible, and it is much more marvelous to have peace in your heart no matter what your circumstances and know that Jesus' love is always there. I"ve had hell for the last 12 years, but Jesus has put a peace in my heart that I am actually happier than ever. It is like, no pain, no gain.

Freewill...it stinks...you let people have it and they make all kinds of the wrong decisions. I really think God should just take it back, obviously...as a whole, believers and non-believers we are totally incapable of making logical, reasonable decisions like not killing each other one way or the other.
